Well thank you for choosing somebody who doesn't blabber away and just blues noodle. F*cking refreshing,up there with Andy demos. And the pedal sounds really good ,flexible as well.Loved the Eagles and Stone Roses sounds too.
Humbucker fuzz that's shown exclusively with my pickups. Fuzz is my most favorite pedal in the world because they do more than a few things and I'm sure that this pedal is going to fill a lot of gaps.
We are awash in a sea of fuzz. Someone once said there's a fuzz for every player- I'm starting to think he meant that literally. Sounds good though- isn't this like the second fuzz in two weeks EHX has released? Either way- this was a wise move. The original was cool but was a very niche type of pedal- only useable in certain context, namely- when you wanted to cover Satisfaction. This one is far, far more versatile but still does the Satisfaction thing. EHX is back man- they fell off there for a while but they're cranking them out now.
I recently put my original Satisfaction fuzz back on my pedal board after years it being off. I have it going into an MXR Duke of Tone which is on boost. The sound is incredible with a great mid push that the pedal never had before. Very cool that this is being released with some mods.😊 Love the One of these Night solo you do in this video. 👍
Have an original satisfaction pedal as well so I use a danelectro t bone distortion pedal I had lying around and had the fuzz going into the dano which cuts out a lot of treble that the satisfaction is known for and sounds great and only cost me 25 bucks at the time for the danelectro
Same here but I am stuck between the triangle and the rams head. Satisfaction plus sounds really good too so it’s an even harder choice now. lol Be nice to have all 3 but no way I can afford that right now.
@@brianrollins7275 With all the Satisfaction Plus's controls it feels like it can make most of the sounds the Big Muffs can, and a bunch more on top of that. Seems like really good value.
@@winfieldtrail8956 Nope. The Big Muff is a totally different topology and tone. Why anyone would be stuck between the two is beyond me- they both do completely different things and do not sound anything alike.
@@stoneysdead689 I’m new to the big muff world and have never owned one. Upon researching there are many variations of the big muff circuit. Big muff Pi, green Russian, Ram’s head, Triangle, Big Muff Deluxe, etc. Not to mention EHX versions and Sovtek versions. So being stuck on which one to get is pretty legitimate if you ask me. I know the Satisfaction Plus and the Big Muff are different, hence why I said my choice is even harder now.
I love Fuzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Now they need to put the nano Q tron with a cockfight fuzz with some pog octave action or pitchfork I don’t care #ehx rocks!!!!!!!!!
I'm with you as I still don't have a fuzz pedal out of the 50+ pedals I do have. I play 99% of the time with humbuckers and this showed me that it can work and sound awesome. Such great playing and demonstration of the controls that this may become my first fuzz pedal!! EHX always has a way of pulling me in, must be the fabulous demos...love my Canyon delay and still need an Ocean's 11...
@@leftygtrplr6184 Hehe, i'm a Reverb and Delay and Tremolo nerd 🤓. I'm into Surf and Rockabilly mostly, so Fuzz ain't not my goto sound normaly. But this thing has much character far off the "normal" Fuzz sounds. As soon i can order it here in Germany i will do a preorder. I own about 20+ Reverb pedals from real spring tube reverbs to different pedals. My Oceans 11 is still often in use due it has a good drippy spring reverb. Btw. when you want a drippy reverb on a budget, get a used Zoom MS-70, this pedal is a real gem for the money. Have a good time and take care.
Holy crap sounds amazing! Just a question, what is that green stuff next to the pedal around 3:02 mark? right after Sympathy for the devil and the beginning of I feel free 😛
Holy shit. I have 2 Satisfactions - one a modded version with the bias knob. But I guess I'll get a third one as well for that Fat switch. Some incredible tones you've been able to crank out of it.
Dig it, great pairing with the Oceans 11 that I have already. Was considering the Ripped Speaker before but now may have to re-think this now !! Would love to see a demo of the Ripped Speaker vs Satisfaction +
I need a Fuzz I have oceans 12 with Expression on all 24 patches...some I will tweak. I'm getting this. Ill run this into my Strymon Riverside...also expressioned out and a boost pedal set at +4 db. Ill have a lot of Tone options with this.
Great fuzz will look to have one!. A quick question: Is the Ram's head big muff better on sustaining notes that the OpAmp Big Muff or the Big Muff Nano?
Those boys in R/D working for Mike know how to pump out some bad ass ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rated pedals. Own several of their pedals and the Lizard Queen and Satisfaction Plus are on my radar.
This is one great demo that brilliantly highlights the versatility of this new-release pedal. Just when we think we have all bases covered, something like this comes along. Congrats to EHX.
