I agree with you, this is dubstep. Electro music is much smoother and doesn't have weird bass modifications.

um just because electro has grimy and distorted bass lines doesn't mean its copying dubstep. im a huge fan of dubstep and you can tell if its dubstep or electro house depending on the beat pattern. dubstep has a (kick) (kick) (snare) (kick) and electro has (kick) (snare) (kick) (snare) or clap. and dubstep has a tempo of 140bpm and electro is like 120-130 this song is not copying dubstep. even pop songs today are trying to implement dubstep and there doing a bad job at it.
