I tend to have an addiction for Japanese bands, artists and of course... noise devices (if you follow this channel you may have noticed, how often I do use devices by MASF, JMT, Lastgasp, Bananana, etc..)!
I always take a look at what the Land of the Rising Sun has to offer, and always try to find out, if there is anything new, which might awake my interest.
And Electrograve was a very well pleasing surprise (from them I also got their Quad Oscillator, which is a very powerful and tiny drone/noise machine)!
The Ripper fuzz it's a very bare bone unit: a Volume and a Tone (quite a powerful one with a very wide range), it reacts very well to guitar volume, in case you might need a bit less gain. This is one of few fuzz pedals I do own that can deliver some amazing, cutting death/trash metal tones.
Beside this, the Ripper won't deserve its name without... the ripper circuit!
This is a very aggresive noise gating circuit. So aggressive, that on extreme settings it'll abruptly cut whatever tries to pass thru the pedal!
Harsh-noiser will love this feature when combined with contact mics... just to give you a tiny hint.
Gear used:
Electrograve Ripper Fuzz
Nude Guitars 013 Baritone (tuned B standard, Bareknuckle Nailbombs PU)
AMT SS20 (clean+crunch preamp)
Line6 HX Stomp (slight reverb)
Motu Ultralite Mk4
Audio recorded and normalized with Audacity, no other post processing or EQs added.

Insane sound based on Japanese fuzz. “RIPPER” mode kills unnecessary noise. This pedal can be used for not only Fuzz but also a kind of guitar synthesizer.
