Testing out the euclidean pattern sequencer of the Mutable instruments Yarns module. Notes are sent to the Vermona Perfourmer, which is doing some kind of weird drum sounds. Clouds module doing some kind of weird sounds.
Martin Hoffert Thanks for watching ! All drum sounds are done with the Perfourmer, it has 4 VCO/VCF/LFO/EG/VCA circuits. In this mode each channel does a different drum sound. The sound you are referring to is on channel 2. Had to check the video to see how it was setup. VCO does Sine wave, VCF frequency at 50%, resonance at about 80%. Slow LFO and envelope are modulating VCF and VCO frequencies. Later on when the heavy bass drum sound is playing (channel 1), this sound is also modulating the VCF on channel 2. This gives the laser zap sound out of channel 2 when both channels 1 and 2 are playing a sound. This Perfourmer is a very special and great synth ! Reverb and delay for the finishing touch of course.
