Sometimes a composer writes an exercise for his students which turns out to be the most beautiful melody. This is such a case. When I gave this exercise to a beloved student of mine I was taken aback by its beauty and decided to play it myself.
Mauro Giuliani was an Italian guitar composer who lived between the 18th and 19th centuries. His guitar music is truly beautiful.
