In this HandiWorks tutorial, I demonstrate an elegant embroidery stitching pattern on dark linen fabric using light-colored embroidery floss. This beautiful needlework design is perfect for various applications, including dress bodices, sleeves, and tablecloths.
First, I cut a square piece of fabric and used a graph paper grid (6mmx6mm squares) drawn with a heat erasable pen. Using an embroidery hoop for stabilization, I started with a running stitch, followed by weaving with the same threads. You can experiment with different fabric and thread colors for unique results.
