This time I built a house using only The Sims 4 Base Game. I used some debug items, but no CC/mods. This private elegant modern home has a spacious sunken living area with a modern indoor/outdoor see-through fireplace ("How To" starts at 5:01). The fireplace can be viewed from the living room and also from the backyard barbeque nook and the pool. There are 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a small home office. Master bedroom has it's own bathroom, fireplace and balcony. It's a simple, yet elegant modern house.
Built on Asphalt Abodes lot in Newcrest. It can be placed on any 30x20 lot.

SimDay Hello. You are amazing. So I was wondering if you have thought about making something like a “modern castle” for the biggest lot in Windenburg Island (64x64). Does the idea appeal to you? It will be amazing to see what you can achieve with your sick skills, creating a eclectic style between classic and modern. Thank you!!! 😊 In my Modern Luxury house I built a fireplace in a similar method, but there I used City Living too, and I really wished to make base game version of it. If you own City Living, you could scale down the coffee tables with fire, and place them instead of candles for more realistic looking flames.

Amazing build but I need to no how do you open the doors so when u go into your next camera angle you go thru them? Does that make sense, I've been trying to figure it out for ages! for my own videos 😁

I make my sim completely invisible with some custom content. Then I simply put camera positions on both sides of the door and record while my sim goes through the door. Good luck with your videos! 😊

That is odd. This is my ID. Check if you have some filters on, I've uploaded only lots (also see if you search by EA account ID, I've sometimes forgotten to change that when searching for someone). Hi, where to find the partition you put in the stairs?

The posts I used for the partition are debug items (these are actually fence posts). To access them, first enter the cheat: bb.showhiddenobjects, and then enter the cheat: bb.showliveeditobjects. After that, search for Debug to see all debug items, and scroll down until you find the post.

How do I get the car? The debug menu doesn’t have it anymore I don’t think

The cars were added to the debug menu with July update. To find them, first enter the cheat: bb.showhiddenobjects. After that enter the cheat: bb.showliveeditobjects. Then type debug into the search box and hit enter to see all the hidden debug items.

What laptops do you recommend to play the Sims?

I'm not an expert. I have played the game on different laptops. It doesn't require much to run the game. But on a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, it loads much faster, and it looks better too. Right now I'm playing the game and making videos on a PC.

What base game fence is that?

I used the lowest wooden fence called Smooth Keeper. The white wall you see is actually a foundation below the fence. First, I placed a piece of wall where the fence is, and raised it up so that the foundation became visible. Then I replaced the wall with the fence.

@@hannahmaelucas9594 The Sims 4 is not a mobile phone game. For phones there is a game called The Sims Mobile, but it's a completely different game and more limited.
