This is the video that made me buy this machine, fucking unreal. I usually make more downtempo/minimal shit, but after watching your channel and diving into more industrial stuff, I can't wait to see what happens when it comes tomorrow. You are a treasure.
managed to grab a factory refurb model for 'cheap'. really happy to finally have an elektron sequencer, and i needed an analog drum machine and a master drive+filter so the bang/buck ratio is crazy! hoping to dip my toes into nasty industrial so fun/inspiring to watch you mess it up 😈
A trick someone on the Elektron / ST forum recently posted, and I've been messing with to great delight, is to go into FX block, sequence every trigger to On, then Param-Lock each trigger with different FX settings across the board...then set each to COND 0% right? But when you hit the trigger at a point in time of your choosing, that FX for that trigger gets applied...just like when you hit a sound trigger. Um...I think I described this correctly but you can watch it over here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vZx6uHOaLac.html at Human Program's channel~!
Digitakt is a mono sampler / drum machine. They both have the same workflow and sequencer but otherwise quite different. Syntakt is a drum machine / synth. 8 Digital synth tracks and 4 analog ones and an FX track. I have both and they are great together. I consider Syntakt better as something standalone since you can create pretty much everything for a song with 12 tracks.
