Yeah I noticed that moving the tray to the spot on the chassis where they have holes for it, would just hit the servo whenever you compressed the front tires.

That's a tough one! $100 difference on them though, $200 if you're talking about the Ascent Fusion.

I don't think it would be too much, they definitely will look a bit odd since they're so much bigger than the truck, almost monster truck style. I think as long as you keep the weight of the wheels low and not use super heavy beadlocks you'll be okay. If you go heavy then I would recommend swapping out the motor.

Since you got a 1/10, probably not much until you get some use out of it and get comfortable with it. Generally with Ready To Run (RTR) trucks what is good to upgrade first is getting new wheels and tires for it. I know that the 1/10 Ecto does come with beadlocks but they're plastic and the tires are pretty meh. With metal beadlocks it helps to add weight down low and keep the front tires planted. Also, a more aggressive tread helps the truck grip the rocks better and helps prevent the tires from sliding off the rocks. The motor in it is pretty good, but later down the line you could look at swapping out the motor and ESC with a Hobbywing Quicrun Fusion SE (motor and ESC in one). It provides great control for slow crawling and has a lot of low end torque.

Was the steering turning?

@@YARCWest it would move a little when I turn it on all by itself , but then nothing will work , no steering or power to move , just green light flashing on the controller and on the esc

Honestly I’d start simple and replace the batteries in the transmitter. If you haven’t tried that yet
