I've been thinking to replace my Element sub. I REALLY liked how that is a direct swap of the sub, so simple with no mods. I guess it's time to install my 2016 Sorento leather seats, sub, and all new speakers. Spring is here and it's DEFINITELY TIME!! Thank you so much for the video! Update, I just bought the sub! Excited to install.
This install video aged very well! I'm in the process of upgrading the sub in my Element and was wondering what the steps were to remove it. I'll be ordering the same kicker sub, even thru the video I can hear how hard it kicks. Thanks for documenting the process big guy it was a huge help!
good stuff bro,.. i am thinking of changing the sub woofer also for a louder one,.. and i installed a soundstream radio with gps and i also installed my new double usb cigarette lighter plug,.. cheers..
Beautiful video series. SO, you just using the amp to power the sub only, and the factory amp to control the door speakers with the factory sub control then being obsolete, correct?
Yes, thats correct, that sub is punch and puts out great sound.. its a day and night difference, what I'd like to do is get a bass control knob for this amp because its a pain in the butt to get to the bass section through this head unit. Overall I'm really happy with how it turned out, with its stealthy, and no visible wires, no one would ever know its not stock. Thanks for watching.
Awesome videos. Could you notice much difference with the new subwoofer and factory amp. Mainly is it worth doing if you're not going to put a larger amp?
Not yet, its coming soon though, all my struts blew out so I have to tackle that project first.. its brutally hot here in FL now so ill start the factory amp project when it gets a bit cooler
