Thanks for this quick summary. I went for Element LS with full crit armor. Now im at 8* and begin to focus on element boosting armors aswell trying to go for Element 5 with lock on and if can squeeze it in some crit pieces.

Thanks! This was extremely helpful since I was looking for some real damage calculations and always heard that elemental weapons were so strong. But without knowing deeper mechanics I still came up with some meta strategys and focusing on Kulu LS since, from my point of view, crits may help to compensate the elemental damage and I only has to focus on upgrading one weapon instead of many. And since I just unlocked 6★ monster a few days ago, I think it's better to start crafting some elementals weapons

Thank you so much for this. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why you don't simply build poison. (To date nothing is strong against poison except for Pukei. Which I use to test other weapons.)

Have you found about how the attack boost work? is it just add it to the equation?

What about status? For example, Diablos is weak to para, and my para has 500dmg + 200para (example). so is this 700 damage instead?

Which is better = a weapon with higher elemental dmg than raw dmg or a weapon with higher raw dmg than elemental dmg?

Would this mean if a monster is not weak to the element, elemental damage is just not added at all?

so it is pay to win or grind for month
