Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, is where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. I just finished watching this and it's somewhat a tearjerker. There's a lot of funny scenes too but the serious stuff made me cry. I don't think kids will appreciate the plot as much as the grown ups. The class division aspect of it is really spot on.

Alternatively, both Disney and Pixar should really look at the competition they’ve been getting recently and really work those creative juices again. So if this movie turns out not a success, hopefully they’ll learn the right lesson and try some more creative stories and/or animation rather than fire anyone associated with this. But knowing Disney, I don’t see this ending well

"OH NO YOU ARE HOT". yea, its something we humans say, but why would that have any meaning to them? it works for us. but not for them. also, why was she offended? that whole dialogue really put me off.

@@RB01.10 the problem with your argument is that, "most women" are also not literaly made of fire. now we can argue about semantics, but one thing that you need for world building, is for the rules of that world to fit the changes in that world. if everyone can use magic, some who cant will be seen as a pariah. in a world where people are LITERAL FLAMES, calling someone hot would not have the same conotation as we have.

@@marcosdheleno That’s the thing, Ember *was* clearly caught off guard by Wade’s comment hence her “excuse me?” and Wade’s “oh I didn’t mean it like that!” So in this universe, the word “hot” can appear to also have the context of meaning attractive as well as just meaning warm.

@@RB01.10 but that's my question, why would it? his species clearly do not enjoy hot. so to him, and her species is all about hot, so why is it spmething with a sexual context to them as well? this is writting 101, use the context of their world to make the expressions fit. dont use it because it means something in our reality, unless it is a joke meant to trick us into thinking they are talking about something, but then we see later that they are talking about something diferent. for example, in this context, the joke shouldnt be for her to feel insulted, and he trying to say "not like that", but for her to get in on it, and later we discover that being "hot" simply being literal. so they would play with literal and figurative in reverse to how WE do.

im gonna be honest, i was actually more interested in checking it out before watching this clip, the dialogue really made me not want to check it out. and i did not like the characters animation in motion(which i didnt hhave a problem when seeing pictures). overall, i will still check it out, but i dont really expect much. my only hope is that they tell a good story, but looking at this, i feel like it will be another "fish out of water" cliche. what sucks more is that, im really in the mood for some cute romance after across the spiderverse. but i genuinely dont think i will get it here. at least nothing special.

I know windbreaker is a type of jacket, but 'toot toot' and the logo on Wade's shirt definitely references breaking wind. Edit: But I suppose it’s a better name than gas passers.

Just got back from seeing this movie, and it is SOOO GOOD!! Ember and Wade are so sweet and entertaining. Lots of ups 😅 and downs😢. Job well done!! A must see for Disney/Pixar fans!! 🔥 💕 💧

Gather, Rejoice and sabotage Wish, Elemental and Kraken by review bombing those films so that they will flop. Make sure Disney will shutdown on their 100th anniversary so that this year will be a year all will remember. Now go forth
