Elementary Backstroke 

This is my favorite stroke.

I had a great instructor and learned how to swim in three weeks. I love this stroke and it is very easy. I wonder why it isn't taught first. This video is great, and I am using it to "perfect" my technique. It was a great help when I had my swim exam. Thanks a bunch.

So much helpful . This elementary backstroke is easy to breathe and less need strengs

I am 47 and only learned to swim 2 years ago. I could only do breaststroke till 4 weeks ago when I finally gained the confidence to go on my back. This video is excellent and I am studying it to become better. I do this mostly, if pool is quiet enough.

three weeks wow, can you now tread the water, i think it's the hardest part. I've been trying to learn it and I still cant get it.

Yes, but it still "freaks" me out. I will tread for about 30 seconds and then panic for 5 seconds and go back to treading water. My loved ones think that I am joking, but treading water overwhelms me. It's a psychological thing. If I am distracted I do a much better job. LOL. Keep trying, I hope you have a better time of it.
