I am new to using BB and using elementor. How do you get into this section? You start out already IN this section. I can't figure out how to find this. I think at one point in the video you briefly mention it but I couldn't find it again.

@@BuddybossWP hey, quick question - does the Buddyboss icon in Elementor only show up if you have Elemntor Pro? I've updated Buddyboss in Wordpress but I don't see the Buddyboss icon in Elementor - is that because I don't have Elementor Pro?

@@neilwilliams2883 It will show in regular Elementor also. Did you update your BuddyBoss Theme (not the plugin)? Make sure to update your theme to v1.5.5 and you should see it.

BuddyBoss thank you... I've done that and it is appearing now but I've come across a new issue... I tried using one of the hero sections which looks fantastic but I can't edit the 'nav menu' because it only seems to be available in Elemntor Pro - am I right or is there another way I can get around the nav menu issue with the hero section? I don't mind getting Elemntor Pro if I have to but I just want to know whether or not it is necessary.

It requires the Elementor Pro plugin to be able to edit the navigation menu for the Hero template.

great work guys, the templates are amazing. one question though, why the header bar widget is showing the default elementor dropdown menu instead of buddyboss's menu on mobile

Amazing, amazing, amazing work ! Please, I would like to use buddbyboss for a multivendor Woocommerce shop. With eLementor now on board, can i safely assume this is possible so i rather use this for it?

Thanks! For a multivendor WooCommerce shop you should consider WC Vendors Pro plugin. It is for that purpose and works nicely in BuddyBoss.

What about groups, forums, members and different formats for those elements? These are the main functionalities of BB. These need to be included with layout customization.

Hi, This is not possible at the moment since these are being dynamically generated by the BuddyBoss Platform. It may require custom work should you want to achieve this. Though, this sounds like it might be a great idea for a feature request or enhancement, make sure you've submitted your insight to our product board here so our product team can review it: bit.ly/BBIdeas

Great work on this update, like many here it came at a great time in the development of my build. I have a question regarding adding a Hero Template on a normal page, not in Theme Builder. For some reason it is not displaying the Nav-Bar for me to change to the Title Bar Layout. Any ideas why please? Thanks in advance!

Perhaps, there is a possibility of a conflicting plugin issue, To find out the issue, we need to check this in the default setup. Can you please deactivate all other plugins except for the BuddyBoss platform, Elementor, and both of their Pro versions? If this solves the issue, activate them one by one to find out which one was creating a conflict. If that didn't work, please submit a support ticket at BuddyBoss.com so our team can look at this further and help you fix it. Thanks!

Does the header template using template builder still work without having elementor pro?

Some of the templates should work with free version of Elementor however, for the Header templates, to work fully, it needs Elementor Pro.

Would be great to have Learndash Elements shown in the Lesson/Topic Single page as Elementor widget (including Buddyboss navigation/functionality elements like a dark theme and focus mode fullscreen. Why limit Elementor with a theme. Educational content built-in Elementor is now very limited in its presentation with a fixed Buddyboss Lesson/Topic Single page settings. Elementor built Lesson/Topic content can't really give the best impression when it's squeezed and limited by the theme. Creating Elementor widgets as proposed would liberate content creators and website designers to do whatever they want in any manner they want. It will also diversify the approach to a course lesson/topic design and UI/UX. Would be great to see this option ASAP. Thanks!

Awesome! We do not have any widgets for GeoDirectory specifically. But you can mix and match any Elementor widgets together into the same page, so if GeoDirectory makes Elementor widgets they will work together.

@@BuddybossWP would you consider making some? Everything you folks just works - right from the get go. I'm sure the integration of GD with BB would be so much smoother if there were some widgets from your end to pull that over like you did with Learndash. :-)

How to put this as home page when user is logged in, and have different home page when user is logged out. coz, It's great as a home page for logged in user, but doesn't make sense when a guest visits the site.

I don't see the BB sections icon in Elementor, and the only BB widget is Header Bar. I'm running BB platform 1.49, Platfrom Pro 1.03, Elementor 2.9.14, and Elementor Pro 2.10.3. What am I missing?

These updates are very nice but missing some key functionality. Right off the bat I don't see any widgets to display Groups / Group Types. Also, if creating a Dashboard then the user should be able to take action right on the page. The Activity Feed is missing the comment box so the user can add a new comment from their dashboard. Otherwise very nice!

For Activity Feed you can comment right in the dashboard. It is an option in the widget settings. For Groups widget that will come, Elementor widgets is an ongoing project.

@@BuddybossWP I think for this widget the ability to add a new activity/post just like on the default newsfeed is what's most important. I know that if I were to have my own dashboard I wouldn't want to have to navigate away from that page to add a new post. Thanks!

@@BuddybossWP Ok so just to check. If I am using a staging site and I pull from the live site, then make some changes with elementor, then I can export from the backend of the staging site and import into the live site, then all the Elementor changes will be added to the live site?

You may use any WordPress or 3rd party theme with the BuddyBoss Platform, but it’s not going to look as great as when using the BuddyBoss Theme and we cannot guarantee that all the built-in functionality of the BuddyBoss Platform will work well with other 3rd party themes. The BuddyBoss Platform and BuddyBoss Theme really go hand in hand for the out of the box experience.

@@BuddybossWP I love the layout, but would really like to see a dark theme or color scheme. or even a Night Mode. If there are thousands of users, it going to get very old seeing all the same websites.

@Matthew Brown At this time, the dark/night mode theme setting is currently limited to the lesson pages only. We do not have the option yet to enable it in the entire site. You will need to manually modify the color palette in the Theme Options should you want a dark theme. We'll pass the suggestion to the product team. 🙂

Yes, it is possible. You can use Elementor as your page builder then you can add new page for your Landing page (without any menus or navigation).

One question please: in your earlier video on page templates (Jun2019, here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9EfX3F0HcF8.html), the recommendation to create landing pages was to pick "Full Width Content" template, so that you keep the BB theme header as in other pages, but can use a Page builder for main content. Shall I understand that, if I pick Elementor as Page Builder, then I should rather pick one of the new Elementor page templates (such as "Elementor Full Width"), and still I can inherit from the same header bar as other pages of my BB site?
