I didn’t like Caroline here . i remember very well when stefan killed vicki for hurting elena when he just could snap her neck but hey its stefan...... She didn’t got mad at Stefan for doing the same to Vicky . Elena had no choice here she couldn’t have snapped his neck cuz he’s like 10x stronger and plus even if she tried she would’ve got killed herself . She tried to stop him at first but it wasn’t no good so she killed him . I don’t see the wrong here . Elena was saving Damon’s life . Ppl that say elena choose damon over her friends are delusional imao .
I really didn’t like Caroline here. If it was Stefan who had staked Jesse, Caroline would have been fine with it. What else was Elena supposed to do? If Damon couldn’t snap Jesses neck then I don’t think Elena could have. Plus it would have hurt Damon a lot.
Elena had EVERY right to kill Jesse. Wes went further then the Augustine experiments and made Jesse into a vampire that went rapid and turned into a ripper when he smelled vampire blood. Like Stefan said a ripper doesn’t stop. If Elena hadn’t had killed him he would’ve killed them all. Like let’s not act like Jesse didn’t want to kill Caroline cuz Wes turned him into a ripper like if Elena hadn’t had killed him he would’ve killed Damon then Elena and then Caroline so idk why Caroline was so mad at Elena for killing Jesse like I get it he was her friend but like he was gonna feed on all of them til they died cuz that’s what Wes created him to be like. And for those of you saying that she could’ve just snapped his neck. Even if they did what the hell could they have done to save him and fix him?
There was no time to decide a course of action or to debate about it ...Elena did what she had to do in the heat of the moment to save someone she loves ...kind of like how Caroline killed those 12 witches to save Bonnie in the heat of the moment so let’s not act like we have amnesia
Honestly Caroline barely knew him and he was just going to be a college “boyfriend” if that. Damon is Elena’s true love. She had every right to kill him
When other characters kill somebody to save his/her loved ones..people say oh he is so badass, he loves recklessly!!! But when Elena kills somebody she is like a hypocrite to you???? Wtf! The way people judge her and defend other characters explains how much hypocrisy those people knows! And plz don’t give me the lecture where human Elena couldn’t do it! I mean every vampire in this series couldn’t think about Killing somebody when they were human! Some people chose to be bad, some still remain good for the support of their loved ones.yes Elena as a vampire was killing people like other vampires but she chose to be good and then she remain good she compelled away Damon so that she doesn’t hurt more people!
Everyone in the comment section is either hating on Elena saying "she could've snapped his neck" and some are defending delena. Elena could not snap his neck even if he was diverted. But she could've easily aimed for somewhere else to stake than the heart, that's where she was wrong. I'm neither with delena or against delena.
This scene is funny. Girl, Elena isn't gonna let your rebound kill her man. Damon and Elena both know rippers don't stop, but Caroline missed that part of gym class with Klaus. If you think Damon was bad, go ahead... take that man to your bed and see what happens. Damon is a fighter. If he can't take Jesse, no one is taking Jesse. You'll need an original for that noise. Elena didn't just save Damon, she saved all of them. She knows, she had reason to start training with Alaric after Stefan bit her. Klaus had to stop him from tearing her head off.
She didn't really have a choice OR time. In situations like this you can't just want the other person to think. You should act. Yes, Elena could've stabbed him somewhere else, but how can she be sure that Jessie won't attack her too? Care is my literal fave, but here I am on Elena's side
