Full-length documentary on the life cycle of the Northern Elephant Seal at the Piedras Blancas rookery on California's Central Coast. Produced in 2000.
The script is realistic and beautiful at the same time. It's full of information. Elephant seals are such fascinating creatures. It is great that they are still with us. Thank you for the great documentary.
He must not know that when there is an abundance of food (seals) the animals are likely to breed more (sharks). That's how it goes in the animal world. Like when a bird Lay's 2 eggs and if the food is scarce than they're more than likely going to kill off the second chick
4:15 looks so comfy, i bet they make great pillows for each other. I just cant take the males seriously though, because of those silly noses. It also seems a bit impractical, wouldn't you bite your own nose if it was hanging into your mouth? Anyway, theyre still cute. Thanks for the video
The look on the other females face when she looks up to see that she’s been the birthing ground for another hahahaha……….. 😳😲 ummm what’s this? Afterbirth?? Ehhh could you not??
At 2:48: " ... most [sic] uniquely"! A thing is unique or it is not; don't modify it with an adverb or a determiner. Just fucking say, "it's unique"! At 3:06: " ... young [sic] adolescent males ..."! Is there any other kind of adolescent?
It's footage I've already seen. It's like some people, biologist, national Discovery, etc. Went and took some footage but , believe that I'd like to see updated material like everyone else. It's in California that's where I live. All I need is good camera's and a paycheck and I don't mind getting us updated footage.any fundraiser or scientist donations, etc should look into that
