It is only possible if your bike does not have TC or you can turn it off. And make sure there is no one in the direction of the rear of the bike, as in can dangerously throw rocks. It is possible to do on paved roads as well, but it would be more risky (requires more acceleration) and would destroy the tire. I’ve never done.
How do you do this technically besides training and experience? Do you dump the clutch along some acceleration or do you release the clutch slowly. When and how to turn, where do you put your balance?
@peternirotkiv4926 Yeah, practice makes you get experience and getting better at this, but you need the knowledge and the tactics to perform this turn in the beginning, and with this knowledge, you can practice. You could eventually practice on your own without any knowledge on performing this, but it will take much time before you eventually figure out which movement and pedal to use at the correct time and than the time of practice which also will take time.
Never heard this term used and imho,it makes zero sense to me to call it that..we always called it a "bootlegger turn",but I know that wouldn't translate very well outside of a small geographic area. 😅
