actually the metal slug formula works, give us 3 heroes, with different skills and give some of the enemies unique characteristics and you have the best elevator action game. also the graphic is beautiful at the time
@@papaonta are you still talking about metal slug? because there is no difference between bomb types and fire rate between characters. maybe it was a metal slug game i haven't played? but the 90's arcade ones only featured aesthetic differences between characters
At 16:14 the player is able to walk through the subway carriage. I've played versions of this game where that doesn't occur - screen scrolling stops and the player appears on the right side of the carriage. Anyone else experienced this? Fantastic arcade game though, Saturn port is excellent too.
Had a lot of fun with the original but this one looks like something I would love. Wish there was a collection of the franchise I could grab for the Switch or even a new entry (closest thing in recent memory might be Not a Hero)
Thanks for the video... In this game, can you also all the same actions/things on the original NES game? In the original game, you can... (iinm) 1. Crushed by the elevator (on top or below) 2. Crushed enemies using the elevator 3. Jump to one floor below without using elevator (more than that and you died) 4. Fall to your death
Elevator 1: funny little dudes spinning around when you shoot them with your tiny little white squares Elevator Returns: fucking burn your enemies alive while they desperately scream in agony
Me neither, but this one was distributed in Japan only (probably because they felt the extremely heightened violence compared to the original might get them in trouble, especially setting people on fire and killing dogs.)
@@JustWasted3HoursHere I think it would have been more the setting people on fire. But if that is the case it is a poor excuse for two reasons. First games like Mortal Kombat and a few others were out at the time. Which were much more extreme. Second they could have just edited the american version where they just drop dead or something.
@@stevengreen9536 True on both points, but Japan is known for being quite conservative and so they may have erred on the side of caution just to be safe. As I remember it Mortal Kombat (and others like Killer Instinct) actually did get some negative publicity back in the day. Some versions of both games sold for US market consoles had the blood and some other aspects of the game removed (though I think they could be activated via a series of button presses at the appropriate time...).
📣 😮 OMG WOW! THE SOUND OF THE ENEMY FALLING IS A KUNGFU MOVIE SOUND EFFECT!!😂 IT'S THAT SOUND OF A SOLID BODY KICK OR A SOLID GUT PUNCH!! IT HAD THAT THUMPY, BASSY SOUND TO IT AS OPPOSED TO A FACE PUNCH SOUND WHICH SOUNDS LITERALLY MORE LIKE PSHHT. THEY ALSO USE THAT FOR SLAPS
