What is your commission on these payments? If this commission does not exist, will it appear in the future? If it appears, what size will this commission be? For example, if users buy my voice for $100, how much will the platform take for itself and what will be the commission percentage for processing the payment?

If you have a voice that is good enough for voiceovers, you’re much better off (in terms of potential income) seeking gigs on ACX than doing something like this.

as long as the voice is used the artist get paid . if the artist want to remove his voice then there is a 30 days grace period after which his voice cant be used anymore by anyone

People WILL use AI voices. The voices will either be worse or better than human voices. If better, why not let them use yours and get something out of it? If it’s worse, then you’re still better.

@@silverblue73 You'd think you'd be making money, but in reality, you're just giving them your voice for further training their models so they can replace you completely and never pay you ever again.

@@silverblue73 The 'AI' voices removes the barrier on availability of voices, since in real life a person can record one thing at a time. So when a big star voice actor is taken, people would hire someone else. Here, thousands or millions of people can use one voice at the same time. Which means the most popular ones will dominate, and the vast majority won't be used. So basically this might be the end of a lot of people's careers. If their voice ain't that popular, and someone uses it once a month or something, with a royalty of lets say 1$ per use, you're done. Even if it was much higher, the result will be the same due to infinite availability of a voice at any one time .

On the website, I couldn't find any African voices. In this video it shows all sorts of ethnicities, yet, I have yet to hear any voice patterns outside of white Europeans. Just as so many other companies, none whites seem to be left out. Especially those that darker skinned. Most of these private companies hire very few if any black or brown people other than a few Indians and some dark skinned Asians. When you watch a SpaceX launch out of Hawthorne California or Boca Texas SpaceX City, you will be stressed to find a black face, as in every other space or R&D private company. Even NASA tends to exclude black people. There happens to be highly skilled people of all ethnicities, yet few are ever seen in these companies. As this company excludes African countries, languages, and voices. Even no African or black voices.
