Mr. Moondog, I really like the "Brits vs Merica" theme. However, shouldn't you have played music by Elgar, Vaughan Williams or Purcell? (although I have to admit there is NEVER a bad time to play Bach).

This is a scope view through a phone so the phone camera is not as sharp as our own eyes (well that depends on the eyes, haha). But I tried those scopes just looked comically large mounted on my 22LR plinkers.
I haven't done any on scopes. My optics I own are midgrade to budget (Athlon and UTG). I'll eventually do one on the UTG bugbuster I've currently mounted on the 10/22. Optics are just ok but can't be beat for the compact size and cost.
I have a good amount of the Eley Target. I think the Federal equivalent is Federal Gold Medal Target, which I have also. I could hear differences in some of the Federal rounds. Still the groups weren't terrible for 50 yards. 50 yards off of a sled? Pretty disappointing.
@@Moondog2A I am not saying you shot poorly at all. It might take a larger sample size and also the gun just might not like these bullets. Also, some guns have a limit to how accurate they are without some massaging
Would you like to consider a scope that has recording function integrated in it so that you can actually shoot looking through the scope instead of using a phone? I think you'd have better groups that way.
I get 30%-50% tighter groups when I'm not using the phone. But with the camera handicap, the results may be truer to how a newer-average shooter with this ammo.
@@Moondog2A I REALLY don't think that's the right thing to do. I would show what is true about the ammo, not to the audience. With your kind of shooting, the groups are bigger than they should be, which makes many people not want to buy the ammo. You said the two kinds of ammo were given to you by two viewers. And I don't think they want you to show the groups to NEW shooters. I think they want you to show how good the two kinds of ammo ACTUALLY are. But your result shows 30%-50% less.
@@liedebunker1253 What is the brand name of those camera scopes by the way? I remember seeing them years back. As I recall the quality of the glass was meh but I haven't seen them recently.
@@Moondog2A What I'm using is an ATN X-sight 4k Pro 5-20x. I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want anybody to think that I was selling stuff, and also I thought you knew. There are other kinds too, but that is what I'm using.
The rifle you are using is not a target rifle ,secondly the Fedral ammo is passing through the speed of sound transition whereas the Ely is slower than the speed of sound. Therefore the test you are performing cannot be called relevant. Sorry
