“You sit on a throne of lies.” “You disgust me, how can you live with yourself?” “You smell like beef and cheese.” These lines still make me die of laughter to this day 😂😂🤣😂😂🤣
Hey, Jackweed! I get more action in a week than you do. I have houses in LA, Paris and Vail. Each one of them with a 70 inch plasma screen. So I suggest you wipe that stupid smile off your face before I come over there and smack it off! You feeling strong my friend? Call me elf one more time.
This movie is amazing, no one can deny that. It is really funny in the same way that Nacho Libre is because of how flawless it is. I watched it a few weeks ago for the first time in several years and it’s just as great as I remember it. Absolutely the best Christmas movie ever made.
Not me! I was only 5 years old when this movie was in theaters, and some material in there may not have been suitable for children like me back then, especially due to the suggestion of Parental Guidance.
just like how a christmas movie was a classic for many years for my mother and father, i will continue on a similar tradition with this classic. it makes me think of home
The best scene is when he rips Santa’s beard off, I laughed so hard at that! 😂 and I love how Santa tried to kill him and the black guys face when he saw everything made me laugh the most
I just love James Caan in this he was a brilliant actor . Also will Ferrell was fantastic. I loved ed asner ,bob Newhart and Mary steenburger. Even the Gimbels store manager and elf’s girlfriend Jovi I can’t fault a single character. I wish they were all real these characters the actors and actresses are so great . I love this movie I thought Santa was a lovely cuddly old man and bob newhart I just wanted to hug him . I thought Emily was so humble and pretty and Michael was a really good kid loved them all such a great feel good movie xx ❤❤❤❤❤😂
Watch Jack Frost recently and the snowball scene in that movie reminded me of this possibly it's very close with how all the Snowballs get thrown I guess if I remember right LOL
5:04. Buddy: U smell like beef & cheese. U don't smell like Santa. Artie Lange Gimbals' fake Santa & Peter Dinklage Miles Finch look alike in this movie.
Buddy secretly exposed the man by pulling off the beard of his face that might not be Santa Claus. He made him angry who was trying to attack Buddy in front of those children. This movie was hilarious before I laughed harder.
There are no direct villains or antagonists in Elf (2003) expect the police and park rangers’ antagonism towards Buddy, Santa Claus and his reindeer and the rest of the protagonists in the middle of the movie and climax and Walter’s (Who appears as the anti-heroic tritagonist.) boss at his former job at the Empire State Building possibly being the reason for his selfish and putting his job before his family and friends personality (Similar to Mayor Auguste Maywho being the reason for the Grinch’s hermit and Christmas hating personality in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) by bullying him in the past for his species.) because the movie’s real conflict was its main protagonist Buddy after as a baby at an orphanage after being left there by Walter’s first wife Susan before her death being brought to the North Pole by accident by Santa Claus while delivering presents to the North Pole and Buddy being raised from infant hood to childhood to adulthood by Papa Elf as his adoptive son and being a human in elf society in the North Pole before after learning of his true heritage as a human traveling to New York City to live with, meet and connect with his estranged father Walter and stepmother Emily and child half-brother Michael (The deuteragonists alongside Emily of the story.) and Buddy trying to settle into human society despite his man-child behavior caused by being raised by Christmas elves in the North Pole making it hard for him to do so and him trying to with Michael, Emily and his girlfriend Jovie’s help convince Walter to become selfless and overcome his selfishness and start loving and caring more about his family than his job for once and in the climax, get the residents of New York City to believe in Santa and have Christmas spirit to power Santa’s sleigh and magic he uses to make his reindeer fly so he could complete his deliveries of Christmas presents and gifts to the children of the world without an antagonist to interfere with these events and all these conflicts are resolved at the end of the movie.
