I'm trying the new Elf Camo Powder Foundation today. I have the second lightest shade in 120. I'm worried that a powder foundation will make my 47-year-old skin look dry and old. Lets see what happens. Thanks for watching.

I’ve been wondering about this foundation, I also am not a huge fan of elf foundations or concealers - great video!!!

I don't think that elf's complextion products have a good shade match for me. I've struggled with their liquid foundation, CC cream, concealer and this powder. I can't seem to find a good shade match in any of their base products. I've tried 4 different shades. 😢 Too light, too yellow, too orange.

The older I get, the less flawless I look with a full face of powder. Especially Powder Foundation. I haven't been able to get this to work well for me. I think I don't look good in elf face products. (powder, concealer and liquid foundation)

Have you tried a powder compact from Covergirl? Jen Phelps has talked about it a few times and really likes it. I think it’s not meant to be a powder foundation, but she says it’s pigmented and works well as one if you use the sponge that it comes with. I forget the actual name of the product, but it’s part of the Simply Ageless line.

Yes! I like it too set my face, but it doesn't do me any favors under the eyes. I sometimes carry it in my handbag. I'll have to pull out out again. Thanks for reminding me. 😘

I'm 42 with oily skin and I'm not crazy about this powder, either. I love the L'oreal one, but this one feels so much heavier, but without giving as much coverage. I swear it's not as mattifying on my oily skin. And the shade is too dark. I got Light 280N and it's kinda orange and more like a Medium.

I was thinking this might work better for people with oily skin. I mostly normal, with oily patches and my t-zone, but this was the worst on my nose. That's usually my glowiest place. I wanted to love it, because so many of the people said it was great. It's just not well suited for my skin. Maybe I'd like it better if I had a closer shade match. I don't feel like I get a good shade match with elf products. I've tried multiple shades of their camo concealer, and two different tubes of their camo CC cream. One was too orange, one was too yellow. I always struggle finding my correct shade in this brand. Thanks so much for watching today, and I appreciate your thoughts.

No. It only emphasizes dryness and wrinkles in my experience. I was 47 when I tried this. I have combo skin, and this made me look a decade older. I don't recommend it for mature skin.
