Lots of rain... Lots of wind... But finally a calm day at last. The air was a cool 10C, and the ground was very soggy from all the rain. But I was able to enjoy a little flying with my Elf and there was even the occasional light thermal.
I understand the war in Ukraine has stopped this company from production. I've read they're trying to start up again in 2023. Others have already managed to move their workshops and restart producing their lovely gliders again. Amazing resilience they have.
Nice flights in that calm weather. But we have lot of wet grass too, I can not launch so high than in dry condition. Very nice flight from 3:20 (nice view). I was afraid that your plane would accidentally fall into the water in the wheel track when landing. I am glad that You have some nice minutes with your gliders! Bravo! 👍
Thanks 👍 The Elf is now my go to DLG 👍 I was worried about the water too. This field takes less than 10 minutes to walk to from home, so I have a couple of gliders always ready when the conditions allow 😎
