I forgot to mention that the shade didn’t look orangey afterwards. It must have been my eyes playing tricks on me. The shade seemed to be a very close match if not perfect. Oh and was it me or did the tarte setting powder almost steal the show 🤩. I can’t wait to show you more in depth about the two shades I got.
Maybe it’s the lighting, but the shade looks good to me. When you started to apply it, I thought, “what are you doing?!?!” Your complexion is so lovely, I thought you were already wearing a foundation. 😄
Thank you! Oooh haha that’s funny 😆. I appreciate the compliment. I wanted to be an actress when I was younger so I tried my best to keep my complexion clear. In natural light, my skin is textured and patchy lol.
I mean for $8 I had to try it and is my fav out of all foundations they have. I really don’t buy high end products anymore unless it’s something I want to try and is on sale. Drugstore is on fire 🔥 with amazing products 🎉❤ looks good on you girl 😊

I stopped paying for high end products except for an occasional one, mostly skincare. I find I can have a lot more fun trying more products. Who dosent like that? 😉
Aww thank you for that! Wearing foundation has become such a habit for me. Also, I find that when I just wear my skincare and sunscreen, it burns my eyes throughout the day.

I purchased today. I LOVE it so much. I usually get a full coverage foundation. It has a lovely finish as well. I was very surprised how good it looked. It is thick & goes a long way.
When I was mentored by another older model in NYC in 1970, she told me there there was a makeup at Woolworth’s that was the same as Estee Louder. It had the same initials, maybe Emily Lynn. But I realized then that most makeup is mostly advertising.
Your skin is so beautiful. I think it did well. I used to wear only higher end makeup, but not working now so try less expensive. I bougt the 30 neutral. It stayed on well. I dont see orange or too pink. You are so pretty. I think you coukd probably go bare faced and still be gorgeous. 😊

It’s nice being able to find something at the grocery store and still being able to get a second product for less than higher end makeup. Hopefully I can start collecting products from one brand to do a full face with it. Let me know if you would like to see a particular brand.
I tried it; not for me. I used elf setting mist as well. Put on my white t shirt, checked look in mirror and foundation was on my right sleeve & some on the shoulder area. Have worn said shirt often and have never had any issues with my makeup transferring to my clothing. Coverage & wear were the same as what I've been using. Good luck to all; just not for me.
I think the shade is a good match for you. I’m anxious to try it but I just bought a new foundation. I love a moist dewy look so this Elf foundation might be good for me.

Tried elf products and the foundation container is not good. It sticks with the pump cap and I've had it happen two times. I will not purchase elf foundation again. Will stick with Neutrogena line for present

Thank you ☺️. Every time I put it on I question the shade because it’s so different looking than the foundations I have been matched with. I guess it oxidizes in my favor. So weird lol. Maybe one day elf will realize their shade issues and fix it.
I can totally understand. I had been looking for a matte foundation for summer. My face gets crazy oily. I didn’t succeed in getting one because I keep getting distracted with new products lol
