Bro! Thank you so much for this video, Because of you and your review/set up of the wave XLR ; i purchased it and it works beautiful with my new Shure mv7 XLR! I wasnt sure if i was gonna get the scarlet interface or the wave but im glad i got the wave! Happy New year thank you again!
Dude the sound is amazing! Holy crap. El Gato is such a perfect fit for the mv7x! I wasn't sure what audio interface to get for it, but now I know for sure what I'm going to go for. Thank you!
Super :) Or maybe you can show and explain how to properly set the VTS plugs in Wave Link for the MV7x microphone so that it sounds better and does not download side sounds
I have a dual PC setup. Only need game sound from the gaming PC. So I use a 3.5mm to in on the stream PC. In the wave software I just look for this input and can add game sound correct?
Use a microphone arm, put the microphone closest to your mouth, which will lower the microphone gain so less background noise, just your voice very close. Also you can activate the elgato noise removal.
Hey thanks for the video, I am a novice and I just got the Shute mv7x. I have a Sony A74 Camera, how do I record directly into my camera without going through the trouble of trying to sync voices? Do I need the elgato wave xlr to connect to my camera still?
Hmmm it depends how you're trying to shoot sis. Are you filming at a desk with a computer nearby? If so, I'd shoot using obs - connect the camera to obs with a hdmi and a cam link and then connect the mic seperately to the computer and let obs sync them up.
@@TechJamo Thanks for the response. I will using a floor mic stand. I do have a RODE go 2 wireless Mic how do I connect the Shure mic with the rode mic?
@@TimoRoseNDFilms ohh? Wait help me understand - you're tryna connect your SHURE MV7X to your Rode wireless go 2 mics? Are you trying to use the SHURE MV7X wirelessly?
