Red Bull Sōlus, one of the most mentally and physically challenging contests in skateboarding, is back for a third year. From the mind of Ryan Sheckler, this digital skate competition challenges 17 of the top pros and amateurs to deliver their best continuous line at Sheckler’s private skatepark, the SC Sandlot. Here is Eli Williams’s run.
On June 6-8, each of the competing skaters were given one hour at the SC Sandlot to film their best line - no music, no other skaters, and no knowledge of who else is competing in the competition. They're just stuck with their thoughts, their time limit, and James Craig, this year's official Red Bull Sōlus timekeeper and emcee.
This competition format, combined with the new blood featured in this year’s roster, has resulted in the best Red Bull Sōlus to date.
Eli Williams is a bay area native who can work his way around a perfect ledge, gap, or pool. Having less than a year of experience in the pro ranks doesn’t exclude this Doom Sayer from a real chance at taking the top spot at this year’s Red Bull Sōlus.
Eli skates for Doom Sayers, Cons, Ace, Bender Hardware, Jessup, and Spitfire.
Our judges, Vanessa Torres, Mike Sinclair, and Jason Rothmeyer, will evaluate each video based on style, progression and creativity.

I grew up skating with this dude in Thomaston and in McDonough, GA. He was always shredding and killing it. Nicest guy you could ever meet as well, he deserves it! Keep it up Eli! Russell

Damned Eli absolutely killed it. I think a timer would be a great addition to the videos, i'm sometimes baffled by how fast these skaters put down their runs. Thanks for this event Red Bull, it's so entertaining!

Yo that kickflip axle stall at 3:51 was so nuts. He caught it so high and clean that you can barely tell it was a kickflip.

I had the pleasure of skating with eli at Hazard County in our hometown. He was goofy and younger. Also he probably misunderstood me as a person lol. But i could tell he meant so much well. But his skating is a force like ive never seen 🤣 and now this! So proud of you bro. -Christian (CJ)

Love SOLUS. Best competition by miles. Strips away the pageantry and performance of SLS and Xgames and presents real raw skateboarding. Proper battles with the highest calibre skaters in the world. Big love to everyone putting this together.

Dude has range!! Jeeezz... It's rare when someone rips both the ramp stuff AND the street stuff. They generally favor one over the other. THIS dude though?? He's on both sides of the fence and killing it both ways. Really impressive. *And that switch heel down the double set was just TOO casual & perfect...
