@@char7607they already made him a qualifying offer that expires July 15th. Swayman has an extremely aggressive agent and father- he may end up back in arbitration.
Wow great news! Welcome aboard Elias we're happy to have you and Boston will be a great home! I'm very excited a little like a lesser Bergy is what he'll bring. Now sign Swayman please B's!
@Trainslover-vc8km He sucks and that cap space could be a forward.in two years lohrei will be better and maybe whitherspoon as well and even the goalie you gunna pay swaymen all that money it ain't the goalie it's the system and essenza they haven't had a bad goalie in years
To many people crying about payment…. Look what JD got… come on. Love the guy but would rather have these guys! And all we had to do it let Gryz, Pat, & Henien walk! EZ win!
Yeah these people are annoying with any deal the Bruins make plus Elias was the guy the Bruins always wanted so a big win for the Bs don't care what these people say.
Dude JD's contract is comically ridiculous. Canucks fans are saying they got the better of the exchange between Heinen and JD, and Zadorov and Lindholm.
It is nice to be a destination in a couple of sports. It seems like guys want to play for the Celtics and the Bruins. They both get a lot of guys to sign with them long term. Which may not sound like much, but other teams have a really hard time doing it. I mean just look at the Red Sox and Patriots. Neither of them ever sign free agents. Or at least they rarely do.
But this contract proves he wants to be a Bruin. Like Hampus, he definitely could have gotten more money elsewhere, on a shorter contract. Can't buy that type of loyalty. Let's go with that. This is what we've been waiting for - let's hang on to the good for now! 🐻
@@TheFoolintherainn The loyalty of a crap player isn't worth jack! Terrible signing for Boston. There is no way that this clown is better than Coyle! Still no true #1 or #2 centre in Boston. What a joke!
@michaella5799 he has been wanting to come to Boston for a few years now, we just couldn't trade for him , an at the deadline Vancouver just had more to offer in the trade then boston did, an with being a free agent he had his choice on where he went
@@LeoBond lol! You nailed it That's why we have to tell them. Even Hampus stated directly in an interview that he does the minimum to separate the player from the puck! Pat maroon is a hawk now - both swedes are going to have to get over it and step up!
Hi, These guys sound like a joke alot of times "Ya I think it's a good fit" (Is it or would they ever say it isnt?) lol wow, "Vancouver was great fit" --hearing him talk and Zadarov and ALL other free agents, its sickening
Elias struggled in Vancouver he wasn't a fit for them so much that they wanted to trade him again in March he was probably just affected by the trade dealine as the reason he wasn't as good this year as he was in years past.
@@PennyFitzgeraldFan lol bs--think this stuff affects how a player performs? no way----and again listen to them when asked these questions in interviews..they sound moronic---I bet if Vancouver signed him again he be "Ohh ya this great fit"....if it is team A B or C
Lol. He was a ghost in the regular season. Had a good playoffs. Played with effort. Maybe because he needed a new contract. Let's see how he does. Now that he's got a comfortable contract...
Bruins are only a couple years out from being the Pittsburgh Penguins and never making the playoffs again. Should make it for 1 or 2 more years, but they won't win a round with this pickup.
@@Hawkee35 If I was a Leafs fan, I'd be loving this garbage deal. Sadly, I'm from Halifax and cheer for Team Halifax (Marchand, Crosby, & MacKinnon), meaning I hate this deal as it marks the beginning of the end for Boston.
Of course everyone loves to pick on the Bruins of whatever deal they make just stop this is the type of guy they always wanted they won today with these deals live with it.
