You miss the point of learning that. Datsyuk use to practice bs all the time and every so often he would use it and those are the amazing highlights that are put in most videos today. Just like every other player. He might not do that exact combination, but learning to juggle the puck on ur feet has it's advantages since u can't use hands. A lot of hockey players play with a soccer ball
Big deal, I don't even use a stick. Hes so fun to watch and him being so humble is a good + too. Don't need to celebrate like its the year 2000 every time
Our forefathers were not watching as much RU-vid as people do now, they watched more television at 525i NTSC and 625i PAL. "I" interlaced is actually the same quality as progressive but the internet generation thinks its extra awful because they watch old interlaced content on their progressive computer screens and see all the interlacing lines. If you watched interlaced content on interlaced circuity and televisions you would not feel as bad for our forefathers and you see no interlacing lines!
@@ericp758 if you knew how many hall of famers the flyers have overlooked ony lifetime. Philadelphia is the worst in all 4 sports and it I had to comment. Your a bitch btw
@@stephenhiker9807 better to be a bitch than to look like a complete idiot. Seriously, if you have to insult people then at least do it right. It is you're and not your. If you don't know how to use contraction correctly then don't do it.
Have you heard about a sport called football where they do that all the time..? Swedes are growing up playing football from a young age and they can all do that..
@@HeadGodoftheGodCouncil No no no, this is on another level ffs...he is skating on ice hack sacking a flat hockey puck...anybody can do it with a ball on the ground with shoes...and u call yourself "god"!? Extremely poor choice for your username
@@amodernalchemist432 It's similar to juggling a Swedish "snusdosa" (a small puck shaped box for tobacco substance). Something many Swedes always carry in the pocket and can play around with at any time. So we Swedes generally become good at juggling flat objects if we want to. "God" is not only a english word, It's also Swedish for "Kind", "Good" or "Tasty". Your username sounds even funnier because "modern" is translated to "the mother" in Swedish.
@KoivuTheHab clearly you stopped watching the playoffs once the Habs were out. Pettersson proved he's anything but soft in the playoffs this year. Maybe it's time to rethink what you "know" about "your" game.
@KoivuTheHab the fact that you think being a fan of a player is an insult, while literally naming yourself after a soft player, is as ironically hypocritical as it is stupid. You're bad at this, and need a new hobby.
@KoivuTheHab Buddy, I said Top 3 center in the LEAGUE. What I was saying was in the future he will be a top player in the entire league. I agree top 3 center means top 3 on a team, but I said I the league, there is a big difference there. Don't try and tell me I don't understand what that means in hockey terms. I know what I said.
@KoivuTheHab I base it on everyone else that has scrolled by that comment and not said what you did (or something similar). Right..... I'm the laughing stock, not you the dude who attacks random people online when they support a hockey player. My wording was 100% fine, please give it up, it's not a big deal.
I'm convinced all these Europeans are secretly amazing at soccer but had better chances at other sports lol, Dominic Thiem recently did the same at a tennis match
Maybe not amazing, but all Europans grow up playing soccer either at the local club or in school every day, so we can all play soccer to a certain degree. I havent played organized soccer since I was 12 (focused on hockey) but I still played with friends and in school almost every day until I was an adult.
There is actually a story about the Swedish national team in hockey who went to China to play a game, I think it was the 1930s. When they got there it turned out there was a misunderstanding and they where going to play football against the Chinese national football team. Well, the Swedish hockey team won the game pretty easily. I am sure Im not remembering the story correctly, maybe someone can help, but it was something like that 😊
He played soccer. Also. Victor Lindelöf that plays in Manchester United can really play hockey. In Sweden you do both until about 12-13 then you kind of have to choose between hockey or football (soccer)
Most swedes have been playing soccer and then that sort of trick is not as magical as it might look to people only handling a football with their hands.
Men din nöt! Känner du till skillnaden på puck och boll? Skridskor och skor? I farten med en klubba? Det är inga problem för dig att trixa på samma sätt, då du FÖRMODLIGEN har lattjat med en fotboll som barn?
Elias Pettersson is basically Finnish, check it out! Seems like Finns are dominating the NHL playoffs this year, and I predict that the team with most Finns is taking the Cup home eventually and that would be Dallas Stars. Time to make some bets if you haven't done it already and you'll be rich soon if you take my advice :)
@@Nixonbutcher never underestimate the power of finnish hockey players. Did you see what happened in the world cup last year? So yeah, i'm pretty sure Dallas will take the cup this year!
@@Lite-8 most soccer players are tougher than you think. Dont paint them all with a broad stroke just because neymar spent 11 minutes rolling around the ground in a single game. And for the most part, players do that because the sport is physically demanding and only allows 3 subs
@@jamesgray7064 Right, makes sense to call it football when u use your hands and you throw a fucking egg. Btw, Sweden is considered to be in the west, so are most European countries.
Rocker5593 ....like I said goodtimer hockey. Olympics is a party for all the NHL players. Canada won 2002, 2010, 2014. No hard hits, little working the corners. Sounds like rec hockey to me.
@@lmtada "No hard hits, little working the corners." Do you even watch hockey? The NHL had to stop Kronwall for hurting frail Canadian snowflakes. Swedes take Krownwall-style hits all the time like nothing. Or this hit on Kronwall by Peter Forsberg. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8cPX7XKrPA8.html That's hockey. Kronwall didn't complain. First because it was his own fault. Second, it's hockey.
If you stare directly at the middle of his chest when he's entering the zone and line him up, the fancy stick work won't mean a damn thing..as impressive as it is.
It funny these guys seem to have a TON of skill but it never really transfer to the actual game. Today's game is BORING!!! Bring back MEN in the game not the soy-boys that play today.
@@mr.porkchop6377 - He cant have that much heart. Isn't he Swedish? I meant good old true strong and free Canadian heart! The stuff that wins Junior, Pro and Olympic glory. 🇨🇦🍁🏆🏅 And he's 11 years old and never won a thing in the NHL. How can anybody say he has heart? Play when you're injured. Play with stitches. Lose some teeth. Score in game 7 of a play off series.. etc. That's heart! Hes just another swedish hockey player. You would think Vancouver would have learned from having the Sedins that you cant BUILD an NHL champion on the shoulders of a swede. Name 1 team that has? Just 1 team? I'll wait.
