My dad drove for Greyhound for over 20 years. He retired from Greyhound, 7 or 8 years ago. Im not gonna say you can't get them that way. But I personally didnt know that bed bugs really existed until about 6 years ago when my parents were talking about that its illegal in Texas, to sell a bed 2nd hand that hasnt been treated. And I never saw one until someone brought them into our house a year and a half (ish) ago. This guys videos are a lifesaver. And he is super nice and answers questions if you have any on facebook/messenger. The Crossfire really works. It seems expensive. But you can get discounts and super fast shipping on Bed Bug Supply. And a 13oz bottle makes a gallon of spray.

Thank you for this video . My boy friend has bed bugs and can't afford the price of an exterminator. So it is up to me to help him. I went out and bought dichotomous earth . So I am going to vacuum his recliner and us the earth on it . And I may end up having him get rid of the chair. Thank you again because I did not realize he goes to a food bank and that may be where he got them. You had a lot of great information that I can use.

Great video. I treated an apartment complex in Fort Lee VA, and I tried to explain to the customer that I can spray your home all that I want, but if you live next to neighbors who have bed bugs, this is a battle that I can't win. But this video is 100 percent truthful

@@kimberlyobley5168 you just put it in a spray bottle straight everclear you wanna put this around the corner edges of the carpet a around the seams around base boards this will leak down in the cracks and kill them it will dry them out you also wanna use chalking to seal up crevices if a credit card can fit in the spot they can slide in the crack. The DE powder you wanna wanna unscrew the plug covers light switches and lightly puff it inside and then put the covers back on they love to hide inside them

@Shawn..thanks so much l have been hearing others tell of their experiences with the bugs. I'm petrofied l don't have visitors to my home, l don't give random people rides in my car. You was the first l read about concerning Eveoclear drinking alcohol. I tell you one thing theres no embarrassment walking in the liquor store to buy this solution to kill the bugs...great idea thanks so much for answering my question so quickly l greatly appreciate it. dude i treat up to 240 bedbug jobs a month and iv lost count the amount of times iv had to explain to tenants about reinfesting homes and they need to have a think about their movements or the people that visit them.sometimes iv seen the same client 5 or 6 times over a period of 10 years and they have always been clear for a minimum period of 6 plus months then wham i get that call.all the best fella.

Great information. We have a small bed bug issue that we want to prevent from turning into a disaster, but we live in Canada and don't have access to Crossfire. What would be another option for a residual spray that is safe for humans/pets in Canada

Thank you Jason. I've managed to irradicate the bed bugs from my apartment but before I realized I had them I transferred some to the work van and now my boss has them in his apartment. Now I keep bringing them back into my apartment. It's a vicious circle now and it won't stop until my boss either let's me spray the van and his place or calls an exterminator. He keeps blaming me for the problem, but I warned him as soon as I knew I had them to take preventative steps but he was in denial. It's a big mess for me.

Green Akers Pest Control LLC It's a big mess but the 91% isopropyl alcohol is quite effective as long as I spray where they are hiding that is seeing that it only kills on contact. I'm hesitant about using Crossfire or Temprid because of my cat. I don't want to make him sick, but the alcohol does the trick as long as I spray it a couple times a day. It's getting old.....lol

I do live in single family home. I am a single parent of 2 kids 19 yr old son and 5 yr old girl. I have never had bed bugs in my entire life! 11/20 the neighbors moved out of the house next door. The house sat vacant for 3 months. New neighbors moved in 2/21 &4/21 I seen mattress and carpets, were placed on back porch. Not to mention they placed their dogs in a shed detached from home for sams week as well. These houses are not connected, however we share a driveway. Wind storm blew an empty bag of bedding to edge of my flower bed. When I looked down at it I seen multiple bugs within this zipper transparent bedding bag ,they appeared to be dead. It was then i went bought spray and treated my home . No bugs in 3 beds. Yet my daughter and I were getting bit. I realized that they were coming in my home through the wall facing this neighbor, through cracked caulking. Replaced all damaged caulking. You state if you live in single family home you are the one bringing them in? My kids and I have had no change in routine for last 2 yrs. (Since covid) So neighbors putting things covered with bugs outside , has nothing to do with my now problem? They were also in my car. Can I treat my yard/driveway with something that kills bed bugs? I treated house days ago/car with crossfire (thank you) and another bottle has been ordered. Is there anything I could do to prevent another occurance? .

I work for an apartment complex and I took these fools home with me by mistake. Ended up turning into an infestation. STEAM WORKS!. I have ordered crossfire still waiting or the delivery but I bought a steam mop and a hand held steamer and it works. I have slept in peace for a week now and I steam mop everyday and steam my clothes before I put them on and I steam my bed. I’m getting my carpet replaced next week and I threw my bed out and bought a new one. STEAM CLEAN EVERYTHING DONT MISS A BEAT. Steam clean on the highest setting

I am 83 and due to the virus, i do not go anywhere except to the doctor. I order my food and get it delivered. They drop the food off outside. The thing I thought of is I order lots of things and get many boxes. i through them in my attached garage. Could it be from that. I need to know what you think. I just confirmed that I have bed bugs. My forearms are pink. I didn't know it was from bed bugs. I believe you said that I should use moth balls in my vacuum cleaner to kill the bed bugs in the vacuum. I can't find moth balls only moth cakes. I have an upright vacuum cleaner the hole that the bag has a moth cake won't fit in. How can I cut the moth cake in the plastic holder so it will fit in the paper vacuum cleaner bag? When the moth cake is in the vacuum cleaner bag can you keep it in the vacuum cleaner or do you have to throw it away? What about using pet powder on the wall to wall carpet leave it and then vacuum it up? Will that kill the bed bugs in the carpet? Thank you.

I work in a nursing home, I've gotten them from work before. Last summer actually, we used DE and found a couple stragglers here and there recently. But my work has broke out with them again and here's the kicker, they WONT TELL EMPLOYEES when they find them. How can I keep from bringing them home again? I spray myself and my shoes down with 99.9% alchohol when I get home, but i still feel like it might not be good enough. And the stragglers were from work, they had to be. We havent found any sign of them since we used the DE, we actually left DE around the bottom of the couch and the cracks in the bedroom baseboards and feet of the bed. Thoughts?

Hello. I am currently battling with infestation and its holiday season my landlord is saying its hard to schedule exterminator to come to my apartment. I ended up using my dyson v8 vaccum to suck up those bugs and now I dont know If I should throw it out... Its a expensive machinary and would like to keep one if I can.. Thank you.

What you said about brand new furniture being brought into the home from a truck makes sense..although their is no way of knowing for sure how we got them. We first started getting bites a couple of months after having a brand new LaZ Boy sofa bed brought into the home. We do have children that go to public schools, but never had this problem until after that furniture was delivered.

Force Marker like I said, I have worked for a company once who had them in the truck because of the removal of bed bug infested furniture from a home. They don’t have a “bed bug” truck they remove furniture with. They typically use the same trucks they deliver on

Moth balls will kill bugs when they are confined with them but it’s not what I recommend, putting the moth balls in a vacuum

Other than not bringing them in ourselves.. I thought you were going to share a treatment that could be used.. I do have kids.. they are in public schools, they stay at their moms part time.. so with that being said, I’m a single dad with a full time job , thus it is utterly impossible to keep track of my kiss & what they are doing/ going on the daily.. the crossfire you mentioned.. is it accessible to an individual & what are the terms of use.. is it kid safe/ pet safe? Ty for these videos.. they really are helpful for us NOT so wealthy folks!!

Actually, we had a bed bug exterminator come into our home and he determined the bedbugs were brought in on a NEW headboard we purchased from a large popular home furnishing website! We got the headboard out immediately and have some residual bugs in that room. We had it exterminated but it has been two weeks and we saw a one bug this morning! Ugh... the exterminator is returning Monday. Any suggetions???

Paige Greenwood white glove service is known to bring bedbugs in sometimes and they can come in on new furniture because they transfer from the trucks where they have had used mattresses in. What pesticides are the exterminators using

@@GreenAkersPC what about the ceiling fan and air vents that are in the ceiling? Will crossfire help avoid that? I've only seen about 8 bugs on my box spring. I killed them and have encased my box springs. My mattress already had an encasement prior to me finding these bugs. I also have cimexa to dust my wall voids. Of the 8 bugs only 1 large one was alive and 3 small ones.

I would do the same on how to prevent bed from hotel rooms. One way is to wash all clothes as soon as you return and they are sprays for the suitcase

So my work place a nursing home has bed bugs and either myself or my husband brought them home unfortunately I'm highly allergic so we caught them very early before any signs could be detected.if I hadn't found one on my bed after I sprayed with amonia/alcohol we wouldnt have ever known. When I called pest control he tried convincing me it was fleas even though I had one in a container mind u this is before he even came out for the initial walk through. So he sprayed first time came back for second time still couldn't see any signs told me it was fleas I even showed him a pic of bites and bug. He made me literally feel like I was crazy. These things have left welts on me and itch like crazy. I'm following up next weekend with the crossfire. Only good thing I cam say is my house has never been cleaner i threw away so much stuff and stored what i could live without for the next 2 years.

Dalton Wade I always use everything I mix. I advise you to mix half the amount (6.5oz) per half gallon so you don’t have left overs

Also David, am I correct in reading the Crossfire label that basically after you mix it you can only store it in the sprayer for about 24 hours? It only says it can be stored overnight.

Hello! Im from Brazil and we do not have crossfire and the substance in it is allowed only for agriculture. I have being suffering for ling time....We have temprid and encapsulated stuff.....I already had the pco here and it didnt work.....also we dont have heat treatments.....Can u give an advice?

I was sitting in my chair and get two bites but after two days no more bites. I called a man who own a company who prepares dogs for the police 👮‍♀️ and they use heat. He explains me regarding some places but now I am calling left email but not avail. How I can know a when the dog is workings. My inspector is very good o recommended him to others people and they are very pleased 😀 the heat kill them at 140 degrees. What kind of vaccun is right for the bed bugs infested the vacuum. My English is not my first language. Thanks in advance 😱😖😭😩

I recommend a B&G sprayer but if you can’t afford one of those any plastic pesticide sprayer from Walmart should get you by fine.

@@GreenAkersPC Can I use the aerosol spray cross fire instead of the concentrated mix. Do they work the same? Because I sprayed my bedroom & bed about a week ago. Slept in there last night, and they got me again left arm only. I have 2 cans of the aerosol. Not sure what I did wrong. I sprayed the bed frame, cracks, holes, base board, window seals. Please advise. I only used one can so far. Thanks

My room has bedbugs. Tomorrow an exterminator is coming tomorrow. Is it ok if I just do my room and not the whole house?

Bedbugs live all over. They can live behind baseboards, inside wall voids, inside curtain rods, and inside wall outlets just to name a few places.

Years ago when I was growing up my family lived in a duplex that was infested with cockroaches. The family on the other half of the duplex was not friendly, so when my father used a cockroach "bomb" to kill the roaches (we sealed up the house and left for the day), we killed many roaches but the survivors moved through the walls to our neighbor's side. We would be cockroach free for a while, but once the neighbor decided to use a cockroach "bomb" to get rid of the roaches on their side, the roaches just came back to our side. I believe it is probably the same with bedbugs... they immigrate to wherever it is safer and there is a food supply. So if you live in a duplex or apartment building, the only way to get way of any bug infestation is for every family to simultaneously do a de-lousing procedure against the invading varmints. Otherwise it is an exercise in futility.

you need a company that use something called a hot box and its a small tent that you plug in and it heats up killing any live activity and also the eggs among the contents of hot box.tent, i use them often whilst doing the treatment in property,

you can look at the bed bug trap videos...they seem to be the cheapest best way to get them eliminated....it is not immediate because of the eggs hatching later , but I think its the best way

I had an exterminator in on Friday, Saturday night I killed like 4-6 live bedbugs on the wall at the head of my bed, is that normal and ok? He said we could still see some for awhile, just thought I would get your opinion if that is correct.

My daughter is getting bit in class for months. She found one crawling up the back of her neck and killed it sitting at her desk. She wiped it in tissue and threw it away. I told her if she finds one again to call me and I will come into the school to get it. I've emailed fox 8 news about bed bugs and lice. Now I can't sleep because I got bit last night on my face. I don't know what to do about the school system. I can't home school them, or go to jail for not sending them!

Change her school if you can because if not more are gonna keep coming home from school in her book bag or somewhere and 2 of them is enough to make 1000 and we just moved to a new house and found out there’s bed bugs here id rather spent 2000 on getting them killed then 2000 on clothes or furniture lol sleeping at peace is best

I think I just got bed bugs I live in an apartment I've lived here for 21 years and NEVER have had them we have these new neighbors and they are DIRTY and ever since they have moved in we've had so many roaches and ants and bugs and i believe I now have bed bugs ughhh I'm so annoyed I'm covered in rashes and blisters and I'm so itchy all over this is consuming my life.

Marty Mig. Get amvac prostrips and leave them in car over the weekend or a week preferably Just be sure to remove if you get in vehicle and roll windows down if you. Drive the vehicle

Joe surfer bedbug foam spray just came out and also doesn’t work as well as crossfire. No aerosol works as good as self mixed pesticides, never has.

Alesha Yeager bed bugs typically hide around the edges of the carpet and can be treated around the baseboards to be eliminated

Hi Jason. Thanks for another great video. I have tried Nuvan Pro Strips. It has settled them down these past 3 months. I haven't sprayed in 2 months. And I have Cimexa down too. So it seems to work, for now. I will always be Bed bug paranoid and will always keep products in my Townhome.
