just wanted to say thank you for acknowledging that stress and trauma have such a big part in the digestive symptom. i've had to find this out the hard way and am now trying to sort out everything going on with my body after a very mentally difficult four weeks. i'll give this a try daily. thank you!
I have seen no one able to teach eastern practices to the west as well as you do, period! Thanks for all you do and YOU ARE MAKING A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!!!
Very well explained. I like it when Western yoga practitioners use original Sanskrit names for the yogasanas. People want to perfect their pronunciation of 'Foei gras' but don't bother with yogasana names and just give stupid names like downward dog...
I appreciate your mentioning alchemy sahra and I was wondering if you could tell me a good reference book to read about the origin of the name etc. Thank you, Im two days in and doing well
Thank you for beautifully and so logically explaining the complete understanding of agnisaar kriya. Importantly you aren't competing with yourself to show off.
I love this and I aim to do this now twice per day. I have always had issues since being a child. as a Empath I lived on my nerves for years which affected my habits, now I hold a lot of weight in my lower chakras which I need to shift, hopefully this is the start x
I have IBS constipation and chronic h pylori gastritis but my main issue is all the time too much pain in my abdomen and constipation inspire of talking whole bottle of constipation syrup at one time I don't get any relief and I keep releasing gas's whole the time due to gas's my tummy looks like pragnent women plz give me suggestion and tell yoga for it
This is great! The emphasis is on the pulling in right? Rather than pushing out? My stomach is flat but doesn’t suck in anything like yours so will be interesting to see how long it takes to get this control. Also, does the pumping help pelvic floor too?
Hey Monica, does any kind of fasting help digestion and gut? I keep finding opposite beliefs online and don't know what to believe, and you seem like a person with lots of knowledge in that area. Thanks for your work
And also I noticed in your morning routine video you're doing a blend of plant milk, various spices and ghee. Do you do that for digestion as well? THanks!
Monica Nice video!, can you please do a video talking about Gut, digestion and wine (red-white). Can wine cause inflammation in the body...etc...thanks !
This video is helpful yes, but people before doing it should either contact her or another yoga teacher as the diet and other asanas should be done along with it too, otherwise it won’t be effective and people will start getting skeptical about the Kriyas specially on yoga, the Agnisara gets more beneficial when one learns Uddiyana bandh and agnisara dhauti Kriya, also diet should be considered more of alkaline than acidic. Lastly thanks Monica, at least people will know now how to get rid of ibs or digestion issues
I got rid of two kidney stones recently... my kidney is still fragile, even hurts sometimes, but no more stones! Is it safe to do this exercise or not?
Hi, do you have any yoga exercise or recommend Ayurvedic medicine for chronic acid reflux. I have not found any related video if yours or have I missed something? Thanking you in anticipation.
I m suffering from slow transit constipation, i have taken all types of medicine including panchkarma but no improvement. Do u have treatment option for my problem?
Ideally kapalbhati is followed by bahya and then agnisar is performed before anuloma viloma(alternate) nostril breathing. Thanks for sharing though this does help stimulate digestive organs and gives a good massage to the intestines.
