Thanks for the video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. I have decided to try anything it takes to be able to have a bowl movement im in a bind I have to get some relief from this its hard for me to do my day-to-day work and live a normal life Noone understands how miserable I am unless they've been in the same way as I have,and I don't want to be depending on medications for the rest of my life I want to be able to have a normal and healthy lifestyle 🙃

I don’t think some people understand how scary and painful chronic constipation can be. It’s one of those things that can get out of hand pretty quickly. This was a perfect and practical solution, thank you so much!

I didn’t even finish the video before I had to go. I got 9 mins in and said “it’s go time”. I wasn’t constipated for days but I needed to go at this moment and was having a really hard time. After straining for almost an hour, I gave up and started looking up solutions. I needed something immediate and didn’t have access to any over the counter products. As a daily yoga practitioner, I realized that maybe I could find a yoga video to help. This was the first video and THANK GOD. Literally 9 mins in. I’m typing this from the toilet. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🤍

I am reading this from the toilet. I have Severe Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and Fibromyalgia. With both my digestive system gets thrown off. I have to depend on detox foods , beverages at home and strength yoga exercises to keep things moving. I am happy to see this video and read your comment. i was totally doubting this… BUT IT WORKED!! i did it 3 times in a row (total of 39 minutes) had to use the bathroom right after!! i had having buildup for 4 days and nothing worked but this!! I say it’s worth the try!! thanks dr melissa!! ❤❤❤ i think 11:16 helped the most! 😊

I know this is an old video, but this really helped me. I have been sick with a stomach bug for the last few days and now dealing with constipation as my body gets back to “normal”. As soon as I finished these exercises, I had some relief. Thank you so much.

I have been struggling with constant constipation for 2 years, and it even put me in hospital until the Drs discovered that I have a long loopy bowel. This is the first time I have been able to go without having to take laxative powders in water every day. I only discovered that yoga was possible for this due to looking for my insomnia. You are an absolute angel, I can now use a natural method rather than medication. Thank you so much.

I'm not sure it cures it completely. All I can tell you is that I haven't had to take daily laxative drinks prescribed by the doctor, as mine is continuous. But this is working for me. I drink a pint of water straight before I do it, and as I do this about 8pm every night I go every morning now. I have also taken up doing beginners basic yoga before this routine. I do the yoga and after that drink the water and go straight into this routine. I do really recommend this constipation routine as it does work.

I have IBS and this miraculously gave me relief. The thing that really helped me was the stomach massages. I had seen that technique before online however you shined light on using multiple circular motions along your abdomen. Thank you!

Whenever I'm on my period, I struggle with constipation before and during. I'd usually drink some Bigelow lemon ginger tea with probiotics and follow with these exercises. Works every time!! Thank you!

if anyone has bad cramps on their period, I use kombucha with turmeric in it and I haven’t had to take tylenol for cramps in months. the turmeric is anti-inflammitory and in a drink it works really quick, you can find it at health stores

This was wonderful. It defintely got things moving, and then I drank a glass of warm lemon water after and did a couple laps around the house. I then got some relief. Highly recommend for a faster approach to relief than waiting 8 or more hours for stool softener to work.

Ive struggled with constipation since I was little and have been hospitalized for it before too. Recently it's been really bad and I kid you not, I tried this and repeated it 2 times in a row, and I was able to go after! I don't think that means I'm free yet, but I will definitely keep using this until I am!

Thank you, few days after my first chemotherapy I am painfully constipated. It seems that this gentle sequence, I can also do in bed, and brings a little relief. Thank you 🙏 Ps. Would love to see more bedroom friendly sequences for releasing toxin’s.

I know this an old video but i been searching for something that can help with my constipation problem. And i came across this video and i followed every step. It really help😭 i been trying all kind of stuff before this video for like 5 days. Nothing help. I even have to take painkiller medicine to reduce the stomach cramp due to constipation. @@noname0224 Yes, men can also do these exercises for constipation relief. Everyone is different in the frequency so listening to your body is key. Some do them daily, some do them weekly, or some do when needed. There are also other factors to consider like nutrition, stress, sleep, and more.

I’m all about stretching and good hydration. Unfortunately I suffer from OCD. I have had a tendency of tricking my bowels. I haven’t been able to pass any gas since yesterday. After doing this video, the bowels started to loosen. I was able to pass a rather large amount of gas about an hour later. Gotta start somewhere! Thank you for posting!!!

Amazing video! I was struggling with bloating for a few days. I did some of these poses on my own. But it didn't work. I did it along with you today and it worked. I just realised that I was anxious and frustrated with this problem and I was rushing into the poses previously. Now I had nice relaxed breaths, noticed my body and tada! ❤️ thank you!

I've been struggling to poop and I've been scared that it could come out with blood. I don't know if I can't poop because I didn't eat a lot and I don't have a lot of poop...or because I'm constipated. I decided to do your exercises. Hope it works!😊 It worked! Tysm

I wasn’t sure if this would work cause I was having trapped gas pain, and I felt some gas moving around during the video, but after it ended, I didn’t immediately feel like having to use the bathroom. I decided to just sit and see what happens anyway and sure enough it was a success! 😂 I’m still having some trapped gas pain tho and wondering if maybe I should do it again.

Feeling a little jealous and disheartened that my belly didn't make any gurgling sounds or movements. I didn't even pass gas :( I felt quite hard lumps which were really discomforting when massaging though so will repeat that part. It's been days and yesterday i felt extremely bloated, severely burping all day. I don't know what else to do as i've been drinking water, eating high fiber foods and walking and exercising and nada!

Omg this is amazing! I am on holiday and had really bad constipation for two days and have been really bad on and off for like a month. I was getting worried because laxatives etc wasnt working! Looked up yoga found you and wow I stopped the video half way through and had to go....thanks so so much!!!!

Follow my advice for 100% cure 1. Poop in a squatting position like the Asians 2. Don't be awake till late night , disturbed sleep causes constipation 3. Never do overeating or fasting both causes constipation 4. Always sleep facing the left side, do it & see the difference 5. Never strain while pooping , straining damages the gut instead walk for some time to develop natural pressure. 6. Reduce caffeine intake , caffeine doesn't help in constipation in any way. 7. Avoid medication for constipation. It's not a disease but rather a lifestyle problem 8. Don't live a sedentary life and don't let the constipation get into your head ,keep yourself busy with work . 9. Trust the process.

Great video. Those exercises sure are good to help relieve constipation. But we must not overlook the importance of staying well hydrated and to eat the right foods that promote good cleanliness. I find that eating spinach and taking an occasional spoonful of coco oil helps evacuation of my bowels. What other foods do you recommend?

i was skeptical about this, i’ve tried another video to relief gas and constipation but it did nothing. Lately i decided to quit coffee because it’s no longer good for my heart, however it was to only thing that helped me “go”, ever since i stopped it, i’ve been constipated for days. I did this video yesterday, had 0 results, tonight as i was struggling with the discomfort of no movement i decided to do it again… it worked like MAGIC!!! such a relief! i’ll keep doing until my metabolism is no longer dependent on coffee.

This is amazing, i never had constipation but this morning it went so hard that i was dipping blood every time i tried to pressure it. I drank 2 litres of water and a banana and waited for 1 hour. I was waiting for a instant relief and i found this video. I did those yoga step my step for 40 minutes and it worked like magic. Thank you so much sweetheart!

I am going to try this one I suffer with IBS which is so painful and uncomfortable and something I wouldn't go for a couple of weeks 😮 I have changed my diet so I am going to do this exercise to help.

This helped a lot. I didn't go straight after doing the exercise video. I repeated several poses, did lots of circular ab massages, squatted low, drank warm water, ate plum slices, and drank pear juice. I was able to go after 30 minutes. that's a win for me!

Great question and it depends as everyone is different. Listening to your body is key. Some find it helpful to do in the morning or the evening some both, some mid day!

I have had a double mastectomy and hysterectomy and have lots of issues with scar tissue and abdominal adhesions... This causes lots of pain and Digestive issues. I would love to see something dealing with loosening the abdominal fascia and pelvic adhesions. Thanks for all that you do!

You do not want to do the parts where you lay on your stomach since you are pregnant, but could try doing those parts on your hands and knees instead. The very beginning of the video is ok to do. Most importantly listen to your body. I will work on a video for constipation during pregnancy!
