Hi Greg, I really enjoy your videos. I have a Lamb Hass in a 30” box and I have issues with Argentine ants in the root ball. Any suggestions how I can get rid of them? I have tried a couple of things but did not work. Thanks!
I've been mixing 1:5 borax(20 Mule Team All Natural Borax Laundry Detergent Booster & Multi-Purpose Household Cleaner) to sugar in hot water. After it's cooled, I would dip pieces of hearty bread (white bread will collapse) into it. I will put a small piece of this around all the bases of my trees. It won't kill the ants right away but after a few weeks of them bring the bread back to the colony, the colony/queen should die. This helped a lot with mealy bugs and aphids on my trees.
