The crazy thing is, you could hear her play only the drums, and be absolutely blown away. The fact that she plays everything else and has an incredible voice is absolutely mindblowing.

I just saw her perform and chatted with her in person like 2h ago. One of the best live shows i’ve seen in my life and what a nice and welcoming person she is

I met her on the road this tour and she was 1. Incredible to see live and 2. So kind when I met her after the show. I asked her some gear questions and she was happy to answer and chat. Class act, and wow was the live show good. Incredible musician and person.

Totally amazing artist is Elise so incredible how she plays every instrument so beautifully. Looping is a perfect way to appreciate your awesome talent. Oh yeah last but certainly not least her voice is something very SPECIAL also. Great spotlight really enjoyed it👏

I've never heard of this person. In the 80s, I didn't meet other girls playing instruments so I clicked on this. I really liked the music featured here. And I always love hearing people talk about their tools/instruments. Thx for this. I'll be checking out her other music.

Anyone can see how talented and beautiful she is, but the best thing is that she’s such a super nice, humble, and down to earth person. She’s just a regular girl who loves music and is really good at it. And a real inspiration to independent musicians everywhere. Sweetwater couldn’t have a better example for their business.

Great! Here's hoping she'll be touring Europe and, more specifically, the Netherlands and Belgium (as I suspect her family's roots are somewhere around there. And, admission of my laziness, it'll be so much easier to visit her concert and promote her music to my friends if she does the travelling instead of us.

One thing I don't understand is why she doesn't use a hands-free headset mic. Is the sound quality not good? Hard to set up? Many high end performers use them - do they have to invest or have specialized tech to do so? It would allow her to play all her instruments (!) more easily.

One thing I learned from this video is that I've been pronouncing "Paiste" incorrectly for 40 years!

Her pronounciation isn't correct. Paiste is an Estonian name, thus any kind of Engllish pronounciation is wrong.

what kind of a world are we building that in ano 2923 we cannot make music with fellow musicians and instead use all this technology to avoid making music together just because we are all so egotistical

“Egotistical” is hardly the appropriate word for using tech because you couldn’t afford touring musicians, we’re also not “building” anything it’s been this way for quite a while where if a solo musician wishes to they may work essentially on their own (like decades). And while even I can say something can be lost compared to multiple musicians creating in a studio/stage, that a lot of these musicians including the one in this video do play with other artists as well as on their own.

You don’t understand reality. She might like to tour with a band, but if she had to, she couldn’t afford it. And doing everything herself is how she got attention in the first place. It’s what she’s known for. This is what being a “working class” musician looks like in 2023.
