Hello Cmdr! Tbt I like them both, they have completely different purposes. PAs are used as your primary source of damage and rails allow you mainly to pip check, cancel scb, stop the regen of a biweave, and if you are really gud to snipe modules. In short, PAs for dps, rails for support. I personally recommend FA off to use these weapons. O7
I just got jumped leaving port on a brand new unoutfitted ship I wanted to get a feel for... Never seen that before, this is in legacy where I've seen like 6 guys in the last month..
Where is your home system cmdr? The galaxy is huge and yes it feels empty. However, some are still populated with PvP players like shinrarta dezhra and the nearest systems, sol etc…highly recommend to check these systems if you want to meet and pew vs real players.
@@Theyyruuusoh i DON'T want to pvp them lol im in shinrarta, i also saw a few guys doing trade routes from duamta but very few and far between this jerk last night was the first one to open up on me .. and the timing could've sucked worse
So may times I had been attacked by streaming morons when just minding my business, going from A to B carrying nothing, going to visit Engineer - some moron tailgates and shoots me to bits without a word. I stopped playing Open cause it wasn't only toxic, it just didn't make sense.
Yeah it can be frustrating when not really prepared for this. However “ganking” is part of the gameplay when playing in Open. It adds a bit of “dangerous” in the game. I recommend if you wanna try Open again to: put a decent shield in all of your builds, when attacked, never fly in a straight line, jump out to the next system. Don’t go back in supercruise otherwise, the fsd timing is way slower. This will help you to evade the most lethal gankers ;)
It makes sense if you look at it less like an rpg and more like a battle royale (a shame but still it's how it is). As OP said there are ways to stay alive and run away, but unfortunately a lot less ways to arrive safely if there are gankers actively patrolling. Nothing wrong with going into solo if you only have a few hours to play and don't want to wait till all the gankers get bored and move on before jumping back to engineer.
