I’m not sold to Elite, but when I was comparing their bows they stated speed tests are made at 80% let off, so you can probably add a couple of fps to your chrony results 😉! Great review by the way, you are one of my archery references!!
I like that some of your opinions are different from those if other RU-vid hunters. I don't always agree 100%, but you explain the merits of your ideas very well. Good job.
To smooth out the draw, swap out the Performance mods that come factory on this bow for the standard mods that come factory on the Kure and Remedy. Big difference. And they are intended to be interchangeable.
@@rattlingjunkie makes a big difference. You can actually see the physical difference in the mods when you lay them side by side. The performance mod has a distinct hump just before the end of the cycle. The standard mod just rolls around nice and smooth
I was playing around with the remedy at a local shop and like you said it is butter smooth first elite I had ever shot now it’s always in the back of my mind
Was thinking about getting this bow for my wife, but if there's a noticable hump then maybe something different? She'd mostly be doing target shooting, and a lot of it, and I don't wanna wear her shoulder out too fast
Try and find a ritual 35. My wife has about a 26" draw, and she absolutely loves that bow. It's super smooth to pull. I can pull back a 70 pound bow a good amount of times before I wear out, so when I pull hers back set at 40 (from 50 peak weight) I can really feel out the draw. It's super smooth throughout then drops down in the valley really nicely. It feels that the peak weight is at the beginning of the draw and ending before the valley, so it makes it very smooth and predictable pulling it back. It's her first compound and first bow since she was in high school and she puts 2" groups at 25 yards with it. If you're looking for a new Elite with the S.E.T. tuning, look at the remedy. It's kinda in between the Enkore and Ritual 35 from what I've heard, and it doesn't have the performance mods that the Enkore has, so it shouldn't have that hump that the Enkore has.
All solid bows. I have a Revolt X and love it. I know MFJJ shot one for a while too. I'd shoot that SS34 and try it too before deciding... again, can't go wrong with any of them.
I got one about 2 months ago and have not been happy.. I have already had to replace the limbs and today the axle Eclip flew off when I was sighting it back in. Turkey season opens in 2 days and this brand new bow will not be ready to hunt with ..
It’s not going to hit IBO at 80%. Some bows are faster at higher letoff, idk how the Elite is but it’s definitely not gaining 15fps from about 7lbs of holding weight.
