This song was inspired by a psychic reading that was gifted to me for my birthday.
The psychic told me in a past-life, (many many lifetimes ago,) I was a traveling gypsy in the desert. On our journey I found a small, abandoned child under a pistachio tree. The child's parents had probably perished due to the harsh conditions of desert traveling. I cared for the child and promised her I would never leave her side. However, due to circumstances that were out of my hands, the child also became sick and died - but her ghost continued to follow me through my future lifetimes because of this promise...until now.
This song is about her, the "ghost child".
