Phillip came to me today, and said it was time to go. I looked at him and smiled, as i whispered that "I know" I then turned and looked behind me, and seen I was asleep. All my Family were around me, and I could hear them weep. I gently touched each shoulder, with Phillip by my side. Then I turned away and walked, with My Angel guide. Phillip held my hand, as he lead the way, to a world where King's and Queens, are Monarch's every day. I was given a crown to wear or a Halo known by some. The difference is up here, they are worn by everyone. I felt a sense of peace, my reign had seen its end. 70 years I had served my Country, as the peoples friend. Thank you for the years, for all your time and love. Now I am one of two again, in our Palace up above. Poem borrowed from and written by unknown author
God blessed Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth with a long life because their marriage was solid as a rock. They gave an example to many people, unlike today with couples, for any little thing that goes wrong, they part from each other straight away.
The Queen Mother never forgave Edward for abdicating. She felt her husband was not prepared for the office and that it actually killed him before his time.
Say what you will about the Royal Family, support or not. Pro or against. But you can't deny the fact that 70 years of marriage lasted that long while being a constant shadow while surrounded in the trappings of power, being two steps behind her, her liege man of life and limb and of earthly worship. Philip Andrew proved that and Elizabeth is damn lucky to have him.
I can't believe those who claim Philip had affairs behind her back!! Look at him! This man was so mesmerized by his lilibet that he carried a framed picture of her EVERYWHERE
I think the Queen did the right thing by putting her grandsons first when Diana died. She was protecting them from all the hubbub and paparazzi that would have been in their faces. She did good.
I actually enjoyed this…I have never really followed the Royals, but like many, since Queen Elizabeth’s passing, I had a surge of interest in her life. They (she and Philip) were truly blessed with long life and the ability to see great-grands. Remember, we all have to die. Do you know where you’re going when your life is over? Choose JESUS. He loves you! 🙏🏽✝️
@@120K3M The story of Allah and his conjured up religion, wasn't until 600 years after Jesus resurrected from the dead. Jesus came back from the dead, all ah never did.
Yes! I am going to be with my Lord and Savior, the King of King and Lord of Lords, my beautiful, gentle, loving, all merciful -but do not mess with Him-Jesus Christ!!
Elizabeth looked so radiant on her wedding day. I've never known a time in my life when she wasn't Queen of England. She became Queen in Elizabeth II in the year of my birth. I've enjoyed The Crown immensely but also realize it's not a biography and that details and events have been altered for entertainment purposes.
i loved the authentic footage of the Queen, Philip, (and their family), and the story of the long time love between them. I would love to see this documentary remade without all The Crown footage. But that's just me. I have no interest in watching The Crown and should have realized that this is an advert for that show; which looks from here like someone's assumptions about the Queen's private personal life made into a sort of soap opera. No thanks! That feels exploitative. I didn't think much of it, from the footage shown.
Like any monarch, Queen Liz made errors. Like any good, decent human, she humbled herself and showed concern for her errors, the people she ruled and her family. No ody is perfect 100% of their life. She came pretty darn close, by having the ability to stand tall and lead with love, forgiveness and intelligence. Long live the Queen❤️
It’s so amazing to be part of the royal family history even if only by watching all these documentaries about on line, thanks for People’s tv, British Pathe and others writers who brought us all this insight and biographies from the world’s most famous royal family!
Queen Elizabeth should be the woman all little girls look up too her Beautiful poise and grace, intelligence and they way she commands a room is the strong woman every little girl needs as a positive role model today.
They can look at Kate now. She's also shown nothing but class, dignity, poise, & remarkable strength coming from a commoner. Queen Elizabeth 2 was the epitome of grace & elegance, always showing your best side to the people. Kate will continue to follow her Majesty's foot steps.
PHILIP WAS TRULY INLOVE WITH QUEEN ELIZABETH NO DOUBT HE KNOW WHAT HE WANTS AND QUEEN ELIZABETH WAS FOCUSED ONLY ON PHILIP WHICH WAS TO SHOW THE WORLD SHE'S NOT LISTENING TO SOCIETY 🤔🤔 QUEEN ELIZABETH IS GOING WITH HER MIND, HEART OF LOVE AND SOUL...I LIKE THE WAY SHE CHOSE PHILIP....NICE ROMANTIC ENDING OF TRUE LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT....WOW....
Good documentary. RIP Queen Elizabeth II- the most excellent monarch & sovereign of the most noble order of the garter. She lived a life of duty, family, & service to country. She will be missed by everyone around the world. Congrats to Queen Elizabeth II for 70 glorious years of reign. Heartfelt Condolences to England from California & from our channel: Australian Parakeets Stars
"He had some German connections". Why don't you just mention that Prince Philip was half German. His mother was a German Princess from the House of Hesse (Princess Alice of Battenberg).
That's true, but the again, King George VI was nearly completely German, his father was half German, Half Danish, his Mother was German. Queen Elizabeth was the first monarch to have any blood from the United Kingdom in over a century and that blood was from Scotland, via her mother.
Her majesty Queen Elizabeth 2 is darling of the crowd all over the world.....strong personality with good behaviour and a sense of humor....great Queen
🛐🙏😭 Heavenly Father Jesus God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection of him provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! In Jesus Mighty God's holy name, Amen!" 💗❤❤💞This Gospel message if you continue to believe this message, you will be saved: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried , that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time,
Surprised that I cared about QE2 to be sad at her passing. Truly surprised. No fan of monarchies here - quite the opposite. Guess she represents a kind of stability that affected people. The psychology of it is pretty interesting. In any case, she's with those she loved most. Rest in peace, Lilibet.
I agree. I’m having a similar effect. I am no fan of the royals, and I believe the entire institution to be outdated and continued through antiquated practices and beliefs. However, the Queen was so kind, wasn’t she? So stoic. Never complained, never explained. She was a symbol of a time that doesn’t exist anymore, anywhere. She represented a continuity that goes on to the heir apparent, but it’s hard to embrace because she was the constant that we all didn’t mind seeing as a monarch. It almost feels dreadful to even continue the tradition of the monarch without her there to embody the role. It has deeply saddened me and made me reflect on my lack of appreciation for an era where she reigned.
This poem is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II may she rest in peace ✨🙏👑🌍👜🇬🇧🙏✨ Queenie I love the Queen she was never horrible, never mean She was a wonderful head of state, with all the worlds problems on her plate, Like politicians destroying her country, upholding traditions and all their superstitions, She was assiduous to her duties, carried out with Grace and Beauty, she Devoted her life to the service of this Country, A dutiful wife, bringing life, bearing the sorrows of her nation! Regal and Sovereign, a Jewel in the Crown Of gods beautiful creation 🙏✨🌍
The Queen said she knew for a fact that Prince Philip was faithful to her. I choose to believe her. They love each to the end of his life. She never stopped loving him to the end of hers. May they RIP, they are together once again.
The Crown spewed bullshit about Her Majesty’s marriage. The way they over-dramatized Phillip was utter tripe. He was only and ever devoted to his wife and Queen. Ridiculous melodrama.
Life can’t ‘be easy for either of you but instead of feeling like you have been dealt a horrible hardship, together you go forward with love . Congrats on your new home. Thank you for sharing your journey.
They were cousins and the queen herself has more German blood than English and that is a fact. That was why they were very happy to have Dianna, Sarah, Kate and Meghan make the new monarchs a little bit more English than German
That is not a truth. On her paternal side you have go back to a great grandparent to find a German born ancestor, she also has a Danish born great grandparent, the rest are British. It may be true she didn’t have as much English blood as some of her subjects, but that is because they were a mixture of English, Scottish with a dash of Welsh courtesy of her Tudor forbears. By the way I also have a German born great grandfather and a German surname, that doesn’t make me German.
@@brontewcat you can say all you want she is more German than English!! That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have other nationalities in her, but the Germanic blood is overwhelming more and that is a FACT.
I know she fell in love with him when she was 13, but i find it hard to believe that she got mesmerized by his beauty. 😂 i tend to believe that there could be more into it. This Philip looks naughty. He might have kissed her on her lips 😂 Imagine an 18 years old alone with a chubby lil girl of 13 around. This was wrong & risky on all aspects though from parents. 😑 But imagine you are still enjoying your dolls, running here & there, just started your mens, hormones running in your veins, and this cousin just caught your breath. 😵💫 Am I overthinking ? 🤭
Why not be accurate & tell the true story not parrot the, “Crown”,? People, SUCKS. The Princesses stayed at, Windsor during the bombing not at, Buckingham Palace, The King & Queen stayed at Buckingham Palace, get it correct!
Pause it at 5:05. Just pause it.... aww look at the baby...then look and, OH MY GOD what the f in the animal cruelty is that?? Is that two around her neck??
They're 2nd cousins. Are you sure it's not legal in America to marry your second cousin? It's legal in mine and we pretty much pattern our laws after yours. In fact, a cousin of mine married his second cousin without knowing that they're related. My aunt also married her second cousin. If it's allowed by the State and it doesn't have any medical implications, why not?
They were third cousins and second cousins once removed. That is not considered incest. You can marry your second cousin in every state. You can also marry your first cousin under certain conditions. In my state both partners must be over the age of 65.
To the makers of this video, I make this statement: The lady narrator, in the red dress, has a very irritating voice. To be a good narrator the person must have a pleasant voice, certainly not a piercing, irritating, hard-to-listen- to voice. There is another narrator in the video, also dressed in a redish color dress, who has an irritating voice. These two narrators made for an unpleasant viewing experience. The video content was interesting, so I continued watching.
They were 3rd cousins . Both were descended from Queen Victoria and Elizabeth's great grandmother was Phillip's great, great aunt . Phillip was a member of the Greek, Danish and Russian Royal families . The Queen was only half Royal as her mother was a Scottish Aristocrat, and not a Royal . The disastrous marriage between Charles and Diana came about because Camilla was not an aristocrat
@@xtina__32 their looks has nothing to do with them being related 😂 yes they are not good looking but that is because when a good looking couple has a baby, they produce ugly kids 😳
The problem was accepting Diana going public with the dirty linen, not her flings. If anything, the Queen was stoic and tight lipped when it came to personal and internal family issues. She saw her behavior as correct, and, in part, she was right. The English monarchy exists because most of the people want it in place. If they become an embarrassment, resembling too much a tabloid story, then who needs them? Albert, Victoria’s husband, more than 120 years ago, saw that as reality, and tried to present the perfect royal family so the public would love them. He was absolutely correct. The royal family is filled with scandals, some we know about, some we don’t. But, the fewer that are made public, the better, they would feel. Diana exposed the truth, in a no holds barred fight for Justice, as she saw it, because she was the least powerful participant. For this, she was never forgiven. The royals close ranks when the outside intrudes, and Diana pulled down the walls from the inside out, an unforgivable transgression.
I saw people saying that Hurry is not Charles son. These are lies. Hurry resembles Prince Philip in may ways. He loves his wife just like how Philip loved the queen
a royal love story ???? i dont think so, ask the woman he lived with the last 20 yrs , its wasnt the Queen. He lived with his woman away from the queen. not a royal love story just cobwebs swept under the rug..
I really hate the people glorify their relationship and call it a royal Romance etc because clearly if you pay attention to all the documentaries the show the crown on Netflix all the RU-vid documentaries them too never were really in love he clearly got with her knowing she would be the queen he had ulterior motives I think that she really cared for him but I think that that wore off real quick but by that time it was too late cause they was already married and the last thing they could ever do is divorce that's unheard of we seen it all on the crown if anybody watched the crown...just from everything I've ever seen or read or heard through history it doesn't sound like a very loving relationship it sounds like she was tricked in and then couldn't get out so sad😥
Love story??? Really, he's been living with his mistress for over 20 years but I guess you right he loved her enough to not embarresse her by divorcing her lol
