This is a tour around Elizabeth Shopping Centre filmed 22nd March 1995. This is before they did a complete upgrade to what it is today.
I recently bought a huge collection of videos. I found this footage on a VHS labelled Salisbury. It seems like someone visited Adelaide and filmed all different locations.
This is not me talking in the video, nor am I the one who filmed it (I was only about 2 years old at the time). I left the sound in as there isn't much talking, so hopefully it will be fine.
I have uploaded this as I found it very interesting to look back at what these places looked like 22 years ago! Hopefully others will enjoy it like I did.

I remember when Elizabeth Shopping Centre looked like this, the food court was where JB Hi-Fi now is and Woolworths had decent look which here was where Best & Less is now

Giant light globes, indoor feneries and neon signage. All very common aesthetics in malls of this time, it's brilliant!!!

i remember the old lizzy shoppin centre when it didn't have covered walkways,and big w had only just been built,the old pool hall upstairs across from the post office (the old post office,,,

Holy shit, this is gold! Thank you so much for uploading this. I would have been an 18-year-old and I can see the ghosts of my youth in this footage. Seeing Atlantic Video on Elizabeth Way brought me back. How much character the Centre had then before the renovation in the early-mid 2000s took so much of it away.
