The way they look into eachothers eyes... you can tell they were so deeply in love.... Love like thiers only happens once in a persons lifetime. How sweet they r together and obviously so deep in love.
@Nenethegreat W You need to read Richard's Diary. Those two loved each other so much. How silly for you to suppose that they didn't. Read Richard Burton's Diary and find out how he felt about her. Read his letters to her after she left him. Read what she said about him. They adored each other and you saying they didn't doesn't mean much to anyone who knows. She is not buried next to him because his last wife wouldn't honor it. He loved Elizabeth. On August 2nd he wrote her a last love letter and said to her that wherever she was, was home, and he wanted to come home. He died on the 5th of August and she didn't receive the letter until she came home from his funeral. She couldn't help looking at him with love because she loved him so very much.
@@bjones3994 Yes. I agree. I read Richard's Diary too and other biographies. They loved passionately and fought the same. The irony of life is that you can love too much. Every photograph I have seen Elizabeth Taylor looks at Burton with deep love. This cannot be faked even by a great actress.
How cute, Richard Burton seems almost nervous at first or a bit irritable but you can see they immediately fall into a certain ease singing together. Particularly towards the end just before they kiss, you can just tell they had a tremendous love life....

This is what you call unabashed on a shame Humanity is something that Elizabeth definitely displayed while people were so fixated on her jewelry marriages and looks here she is in a time when holding hands with a so-called negro could be a straight-up scandal she does it on national TV without even flinching taking time to help a friends fledgling television show obtain ratings and bringing glamour on this show and in the very segregated 60s I have really come to adore and appreciate this Legend who was way ahead of her time and maybe more beautiful inside than out I wish I had a chance to meet her I spent most of my teenage years by my mother White Diamonds perfume and presents for my mother and grandmother because they love it so much look at her beautiful self not to mention the humanity and bravery she was about to become associated with in the 1980s when AIDS was a taboo homosexual some even thought negro disease she fought head-on and raised money tirelessly way before Ryan White funding was available she did whatever she had to do to raise money for AIDS patience and research and for this and with this said I hope that Elizabeth Taylor is resting peacefully but if Richard or Mike is in heaven with her she probably is not resting at all being that they were the Great loves of her life LOL love you lady Mau and your ideals and Humanity live on for years to come
Funny thing is that Richard Burton kind of denied he was a welsh speaker, never spoke publicly in Welsh. But you can tell that from the song that he could speak Welsh really well.
I'm still not clear how well she could sing, but he certainly can. She sounded fine between harmonies. This was lovely, although we don't know what the words mean.

Elizabeth was obviously a huge star for many yeas before she and Richard got together. He was well known too, but I will always associate them together. When I hear either of them names to this day, I think of them together, can't help it. Like "peas & carrots."

If you type 'Ar lan y mor' into the youtube search box it will come up with many examples of it sung by different Welsh artists and even choirs. I quite like the one sung by Cerys Matthews of the group Catatonia.
