Great video! You give so much good info for people looking to pick up Liz, or in my case, looking to understand Liz better. Also I loved your use of video examples when non-beginner friendly concepts came up!
I'm new to tag games and I really wanted to pick up liz, but had no clue of how to start or how tag games work in general. This video was a godsend, really well explained, well edited and executed, thanks a LOT for making it.
This was a very well done video. Lots of editing effort. We need more of this stuff for other characters as well. Basically all of them, but that's a huge task.
First of all, sick video - it's straight to the point with video footage to show off concepts. Would love to see more of these for other characters/teams, especially for non-meta ones. Second, what do you think of Liz/Susanoo? I like Liz backing up Susanoo, but both characters seem to get stuffed by Hilda :(
Kenny Tan i definitely want to focus on non meta characters since there’s less easily found data about them! And I agree, liz susanoo struggles way too much in neutral with specifically susan on point, and I don’t like that liz has no overheads for susan unblockables. The synergy is pretty lacking.
Nice guide man, glad to see liz getting her fair share of lab time. Narukami is so damn good in general, been playing him with kanji and chie and both teams are a blast.
I think Aigis should be at least at the end of S tier. With the amount of footage, tech, and oppressive 50/50 mix, she deserves it. At least for now. Still enjoyed the video. Good stuff.
Yoru13 I actually did have her in S tier at first but moved her down after talking with Bace. She thinks the team (and rachel/heart) doesnt have as strong of neutral as izayoi does, and I can see that.
@@DawnoftheBread Yea I can see that. That's fair. I would would argue that the Aigis shell has more mixup power and a lot more dmg. But I agree, neutral is king.
What do you think of Neo with her? I've been playing around with that comp and the Neo side of things is pretty powerful but I'm struggling with the liz side of things in that particular comp
aight, im not that good, but i saw 2 things missing, which was no adachi or akatsuki. one combo i know liz can do when your opponent is near/in the corner is 5aaa 5b j.c 214a then akatsuki 4p 5aaa 5b 236bc then you can call in akatsuki for a second super. akatsuki meshes really well with liz, and liz 5p enables some crazy stuff, like a coast to coast 7k combo. adachi doesnt have the same synergy with liz like akatsuki does, but liz lets adachi do some crazy shit. like you can do 5aaaa(i think? its till adachi does his 5p) 5bbb 2c liz 5p 5aaaa then i dont know the most optimal thing to do after that, still labbing liz/adachi. another thing you can do as adachi with liz 5p is 2b jump cancel j.aa j.c liz 5p. i dont know much about what classifies as good neutral or bad neutral, so these teams might be shit, but ive been winning with them. thank you for this guide tho!
Have you tried Naoto S./Liz? I’ve been labbing them out lately and I think they’re A tier? Naoto’s assists help with neutral and combos and vice versa with Liz’s assists.
How about Naoto S.? I think Shirogane's assists can be really good for Liz in neutral and in combo extension, and Liz can also help Shirogane set up instant kills via her long lasting moves.
It doesn’t work. They basically provide the same support that the other can’t take advantage of. For instance Liz has no advancing assists so she cant get in with AS Snipe, has no solo mix even if she does get in, cant set up unblocks with Shirogane 236B since she’s too far. Combo extension isn’t something Liz needs in most cases.
What do you think about Adachi/Liz? From my experience they have an insane amount of damage and Adachi's mix from Liz's assists and setups aren't bad but I'm not too sure on the smaller details
It's very bad. Liz can't use any of Adachi's support for mix because she has neither overheads nor an anti-air DP, she doesn't have supports to confirm Adachi A Zio zoning, Adachi himself doesn't have nearly strong enough mix to compensate for that. It's easy to do high damage with Elizabeth on a team.

I've been using her with gordeau, id definitely appreciate thoughts on that. this was definitely helpful eshi - trying to up my game with active switch stuff.
what about vatista or nu-13? I feel like aigis provides nothing for elizabeth if for some reason she happens to be on point after a burst or something, her assists are total trash.
razrsrealm ya aegis assists are extremely bad no matter what team she’s on, which is part of why liz fits so well. If you make aegis an untouchable god then you never have to play her partner 🤠 Nu-13 has negative synergy imo, at least aegis has a forward advancing 5p which is useful for liz in quite a few ways. Nu 5P moves her BACKWARDS. Liz cant really use 6P for her gameplan and 4p is useless for basically everyone so I really dont like that team. Vatista, her mixup is a bit too reactable which I greatly dislike, but it does have some juice. You can do triple super combos with her 5P.
