Another fantastic one lots of memories and haven't things changed sometimes not for the good but still a wonderful place to live

Back in the late 80s I worked for British Aerospace. They had a corporate box overlooking the Finish line of the GP. I had access to that for a couple of years...the only way to watch that race! I walked around the track and at ground level you saw bugger all! In the corporate box we had TV monitors and waiters serving drinks. Later, for the 10th GP I was a volunteer track official, part of a group doing crowd control at one of the bridges over the track...a long four days in the sun...

Great video lots of wonderful memories this truly is a beautiful state to live in. My band back in the 80s was a Beatles cover-show band called The Beatmakers we played in the festival theater as support band for Gloria Loring of Days of our lives fame .Overseas acts had to have a local band as support act and we scored the gig. In the 90s we were a 60s 70s 80s show band called Slip of the tongue and played every year at the Cruising yacht club and Saltrams winery on the gourmet weekend. A wonderful time in my life I will never forget.

Now That was a trip down memory lane! Having moved to the Barossa in '66 ( after living in Elizabeth), I recognise many of those spots. Had wedding photos on the steps of Chateau Yaldara nr Lyndoch, The little village of Springton and Tanunda. It's a pity the 'Mall' doesn't have the energy of that era ( yep, I remember the escalators). Overall...a great video and dear old SA hasn't really changed drastically....great beaches, food, wine and historic towns :)

me and my mate ended up riding our motorbikes around the track .. went down a back street and ended up on east Tc .. couldnt find an exit ..everything was blocked off.. it was about 8,30 at night and the only traffic we found was a police car .. had a chat with them,, they were cool,, just told us to go back the way we came in.. back in the 80's you could slap an L plate on the back of a motorbike and you were off,,, no need for mom or dad in a car with you.. man we had some good adventures . i still have an 1988 GP ash tray i pinched from the adelaide bowling club..
