Thanks, that was a neat ride. There are three mountain bike loops (Elkin Creek, Iron Falls and Possum Shot) alongside this trail ~ 5 miles of trail. There are also picnic tables and gongs to tap with rubber hammers. Also at the stopping place of this video is a privy and to the left two new bridges of 40 and 75-feet.
It is a neat ride. We rode it again on Labor Day and found the new bridges, really nice. I did a video of Elkin creek and am hoping to come back real soon to ride Iron Falls and Possum Shot. Thanks for watching and your comments!
@@BikesTrailsandGreenways today a group of us are working on the switchback connections between the two new bridges to make that ride some easier. Eventually we'll widen that trail.
Yep, me too! I think it's perfect for someone wanting to get out for a ride in nature without getting too wild. It's also the perfect cool down run when you come off the mtb trails they have there.
Thanks for checking out my video, we love exploring around Elkin and Jonesville but haven't had the chance to go to Stone Mountain but plan to in the future!
Good eye, I decided not to wear them on the greenway for this ride. Thankfully I had them on when I went otb at a creek crossing on the singletrack a little later!
