Australians don't say "anything" like that. To your ear, it will probably sound like "innitheeng". At 2:56 "So I'm calming down" sounds Aussie though. She has a muddled accent overall. Her American and Australian accents are getting intermingled in her speech.

I have to say they make a fabulous couple.....I am an absolutely straight guy....I personally couldn't give a flying F about someones sexual preference........I judge everybody on the integrity of their character. The way they interact with each other screams love and honesty.....and in any relationship that is ALL that matters.

This was a very interesting dynamic here, you can DEFINITELY see that Ellen is the dominant voice/presence in the relationship. Nothing negative by saying that, but something that I observed in the way she answers and speaks to Portia. They are adorable.
adriannaletch Ellen does not "dress like a man" nor does Portia "dress like a woman". Like the rest of us, they dress in what makes them feel comfortable in a given situation crossed somewhat with others expectations because we do like to please others. Both of those ladies are wonderful example of the female sex and the diversity that comes naturally unlike what straight men impose on women. Have you even seen a picture of Portia in her gardening outfit. She looks like a steelworker.

Portia moved to America in 1994. Accents occur because people naturally imitate those around them - if you go on an international holiday for a couple of weeks, you might even find your accent changing a bit; so it's no surprise that in 20 years hers has become less Australian.
I don't understand why some people find this video so "weird" to watch. They are just two people having a conversation and just happen to be married. Nothing wrong or weird about that.

Portia is very funny and the two of them could do a sit com...aka the "The Odd Couple" Nice when you see two people who are so obviously a fit for one another.
Rach Kate if you read her book she actually talks about that. Her book is amazing you should definitely read it. I have the hardcover, the Kindle version & the Audible lol. She actually narrates the Audible one so it's pretty cool to listen to.
