I know the words make her very uncomfortable but it's just hilarious to watch her try to say them 😂 Who knew Ellen's weaknesses were the words cotton ball and styrofoam
I like the way you think, but I'm pretty sure she just hates them, not afraid of them... she was covered with the stuff on christmas day, she should've at least said "I was screaming my lungs off, yelling 'get this thing off of me!" or something like that.. maybe she just has problems with saying it?
NJAY8/16/08 Yeah, if she was kinda laughing at herself as she was admitting it. Plus if she were afraid I think it'd be silly to broadcast it to the world where people could get at her for it.
I have watched a lot of her monologues and I can't remember one where she shared something that she didn't like, this was a very personal monologue, not like Portia and I did this, or that, or what they DID, but more along like how she felt about something, I think the last time she shared how she felt about something was the puppy situation when she cried... Well done with this one!!
Rough life Ellen. We had no Christmas thanks to the cat in the tree and no money for gifts. I was in hospital between Christmas and New Years. And it's COLD in Indiana. Really COLD.

I live in Australia so its summertime during Christmas, for people who live elsewhere, is when it starts to snow that you get excited? I find it so hard to understand how people get excited about snow...
I live in Austria and we do get excited about snow. Every year we hope that it snows during or before christmas eve in order to have a "white" christmas. When I think of it, it is actually really ridiculous.
Wow, sounds like our New Years Eve situation... I had to take care of my mom and sister and the house was literally 50 degrees colder downstairs... now it's the 6th, they r both better and I'm sick lol
Christmas day, everyone went out while I stayed in bed all day eating white chocolate (my only present) and surfing the internet. Seems like it wasn't so bad after all, compared to you guys.
That's so weird she can't say styrofoam/cotton balls. Lal. Maybe it's like imagining having those things in your mouth. I despise the feel of cotton balls too.
I'm not a fan of the squeaky noise styrofoam makes...Eeeek! My ears hurt just thinking of it. I suppose cotton balls make that sound/sensation too. Damnit! Now I'll never use cotton balls again! >_
