She's playing the victim card...people who worked with her admitted she was part of the problem.

I didn't know "The Ellen show" is still on air. I have not watched the show since the toxic scandal occurred. Well, good for Ellen. She's made tons of money and now her show is over she can focus on other things instead of pretending to be nice to people on her show.

I seriously have a problem with the celebrities trying to defend Ellen and implying that she couldn't possibly be mean because of how nice she was to them. Do they realize how tone-deaf they sound? One of my friends went on a date with a guy who used to work at the Ellen Show and he also told her Ellen was super rude and entitled on the show. Apparently no one could even talk to Ellen or make eye contact with her. I couldn’t believe it since I loved watching her show and then sure enough a few months later all this was exposed.

She's had nothing but nasty stories about her circulating online for years and years. Not many celebrities have that and you can't just dismiss it all as lies. It was just time for a change for everyone. Her act was getting stale and yes her ego got so big that she thought she could treat anyone however she wanted. I hope she learns from this and just gracefully moves onto whatever is next for her.
