The man accused of killing two people at a nightclub in Buckhead appears in court. On Friday morning, a police detective explained to the court what their investigation revealed and surveillance video was played. At the conclusion, the judge found probable cause, meaning that the case can proceed to trial.

Let me tell yall I used to work security there. And the owners would let people they knew come in there with guns! And the security would take money to let people come in with them. Like I can so so much about this and what’s going on but they know they wrong and security is too.

Totally agree! I was clubbing in the same era, as well. You never ever worry about a fight in a club let alone a shooting…. Especially in Buckhead ! Atlanta has gone down bad….

He will definitely get off on these charges from what this reports shares. Eyewitness testimony will NEVER fly against even an inexperienced pro-bono attorney, much less a seasoned one. The cameras don't show him firing a weapon, the man that identified him wasn't even inside the club when the shooting took place, and there was clear video evidence of him being patted down. Stop the madness. Much favor and many blessings to the families of the victims, but prosecutors hold the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt, which this is not. 😴

Both sides need this information to decide whether the case can be resolved by a plea agreement or has to be set down for a trial. The process of discovery is controlled by certain rules. The rules of discovery are set out in O.C.G.A. § 1716-1 thru O.C.G.A. § 17-16-23 known as the Criminal Procedure Discovery Act (“the Act”).
