@@cuegardsI like him, he is very enthusiastic. But yeah a guy like Larkin probably isn’t the best partner for him lol. He’s better suited with Chris Welsh
Baseball needs more minority outreach before that. I saw pretty much all white fans in this crowd. Is that representative of Cincinnati? Very disappointing.
@@dabombgiggity123 i am a braves fan too and I was telling my dad like this kid is going to haunt us in the playoffs for years. great ballplayer ROTY incoming
@@briandowning2478ThE lEaGuE wIlL aDjUsT tO hIm…you are acting like he won’t adjust. Pitchers already adjusted to him once and he adjusted after struggling for 3 games. That’s how this sport works pitchers make adjustments then hitters adjust back
As a A’s fan and a pure fan of baseball this kid brings so much joy to my heart. The city of cincy deserves all the success they are having right now 💯💯
@@winstoncannady4224Burrow isn't leaving. He's already established that. Chase said he will only play with Burrow. So it doesn't matter how long it takes. For Burrow and Chase it's Super Bowl or Bust
As a Cincinnati native I never watch the Reds just the Bengals, But what a time to be from the City. Reds have Elly and in 1st place looking to be a problem for years, Bengals have Burrow looking to be a Problem for awhile and the FC CINCINNATI soccer team looking good in 1st place. I'm LOVING ITTTTTTT. Thank you GOD for giving us a voice 💙 #GoReds #GoFcc #WhodeyBengals
They have alot if young talent but need to lock em up long term. Otherwise if they wait they won't be able to keep half of them. Hopefully they'll be able to keep this team together but time will tell
@@HkFinn83 he’s doing things that reds players haven’t done all year, or in decades. that sounds pretty one in a generation to me, almost by sheer definition of the term
@@HkFinn83 De La Cruz is only the 343rd player to hit for the cycle since 1882...in his 15th game as a pro. The last rookie to hit for the cycle was Cody Bellinger in 2017. This kid (as long as he stays healthy) may find himself in Cooperstown.
I love my Braves, but watching De La Cruz this game was upsetting for my Braves, but so good for the game. These young guys are going to make MLB fun again just simply by being themselves.
First cycle since Eric the Red! As a lifetime Reds fan growing up on Mario Soto, Pete breaking hit record, Tom Browning perfect game on eve of my birthday, Eric Davis, Barry Larkin, Jose Rijo and the beautiful '90 championship, my dad telling me of the greatness of the Big Red Machine, man, it's fun to see the Reds contending again! I do love this game, thanks guys, keep it up!
I had the privilege of watching him play against my Astros. This guy is something special, heck the whole team played like it was the playoffs! I wouldn’t be surprised if they go into the post season. Definitely a team to watch.
As a Diamondbacks fan I am very happy for the Reds fan base. Its been a real treat watching AZ being resurrected with Corbin Carroll leading the charge, and Cincy has a similar thing with De La Cruz, he's something else.
I’m a Giants fan but I love this dude crazy amount of speed can hit the ball well and he’s only been in the league for 15 games😳 Hope he has a long and successful career
As a Giants fan and fan of baseball in general, watching this guy gets me so excited. He brings the swagger and flair that the game of baseball so desperately needs. This guy is going to be a superstar!!
This kid has made me start paying attention to the reds. I hope he can keep this up for years to come. Such an exciting prospect and no doubt bringing plenty of joy to reds fans!
This kid is special special. They better do whatever it takes to keep him here. This team & this city is ready for something special to happen & I believe it is. 👏
watching this because the Snakes and Rangers have four games max left in the series, the season is almost over…this was the most electrifying display of hitting this year, February couldn’t come faster
Elly is a once in a generation talent. On a daily basis this kid is setting records and making history! Just an unbelievable athlete. Elly De La Cruz has it all..
I'm 35 man I haven't been this happy with the reds in so long watching every game even when they started off bad and now, they are winning, and it feels so good.
Tonight was a big deal if you're a Reds fan. Eric Davis was the coolest MFer of all time when I was 11. I'm 47 and watching what the new 44 is doing combined with Votto's swan song and I'll tell you what, this was a special night.
@@briandowning2478Alright dude imagine going on to the MLB’s RU-vid channel, clicking on a video with a Reds player, seeing all all the fans going wild, and yet your still not able to accept that the Reds are good for once.
Improved yes. Let's not forget this team was 6 games under 500 when the streak started. Pirates got off to a great start and came back to....well reality.
Was at this game and I gotta say I’ve never seen something as exciting as when he hit the ball and we all erupted I mean that moment was one of the coolest sporting moments in Cincinnati history
Watching almost a year later and i still get goosebumps listening to the call! Elle continues to amaze us amost on a daily bases. Elle you got me interested in baseball again.
It’s crazy to think this stadium is packed I think if remember correctly Acuña’s first home run was at this stadium and hardly anyone was there for that game. I know it happened years ago but man how fast things change for a team is amazing.
As an addendum to how fast things can change, the Reds also had their lowest attendance day in franchise history just a couple months ago in early April. Only like 7K. This shows that winning, excitement, and attendance all feed on each other.
love seeing it for reds fans. best fans in the country. humble & love the real game. I've never commented on a RU-vid video before. but lets go reds. so great to see for the fans, the game & the culture.
Dude is a beast. Baseball needs the excitement back. I'm happy they've made the changes this season. Its given a boost to overall offense and has sped the game up. Wish we could even more offense.
How could u want MORE OFFENSE this was maybe game of the year most offense you can ask for outta of a baseball game nothing but fireworks and entertaining it was like watching the warriors vs kings shooting out
I’m not even from Cincinnati or Ohio but it’s been nice to see those fan bases get some much needed TLC lately. First Burrow and the Bengals and now De La Cruz and the Reds! What an exciting time to be a Cincy sports fan!
