I’ve been using charja, vig, and toxapex closer. It’s been fairly solid but this cup is pretty limited in terms of good Pokémon to be consistent with.

at 2:48 I would recommend doing one fast move and then the second charge move because you can get more energy before the incinerate registers.

How do you all get such good Tropius? I’ve played 3 years and I’ve only ever caught 1! In Australia we get useless Kangaskhan spawns..

As for the road trip, my family takes a 16 hour road trip like once a year and we always find some kind of game to play in the car, you and Daxi should definitely come up with some road game competitions

I played Vig Tox safe swap and Dub with Wild Charge, weak vs Trevs though. Dubwool is really good

Tropius could need a global release imo and then new move set. It could learn. Magical leaf, body slam, steel wing, bullet seed. I think magical leaf and bullet seed would both be very good for tropius while not making it OP as it has a big steel weakness then

Ive had a 66% win rate all season and today i got my ass handed to me, went 2/5 in every set. Every time i changed my team i kept getting triple hard countered in 3 out of the 5 matches, thats the downside to limited metas

No reason not to shield the Tropius against the Kingdra at the 17:00min mark. Then you have Tropius for Poliwrath prob flips that game tbh. I started off hating summer cup but since I’ve been on one of my best runs ever in GBL pushing Vet already over 2400. Always love the content Dan, thanks!

I think tropius is the strongest Mon in this summer cup. While I think vigoroth is a bit meh as too many people counter it. Dubwool looks interesting. Have to try it. I just tried electroced because dark/ electric. Now back to the video watching

Cress at max attack has less attack than my iv tapu fini so it tapu should get cmp

I tried zapdos and it’s rough.. you need to shield “not very effective” attacks to keep it alive

Whats with the dubwool and vig iv's i thought you need high defence and stamina. These are just bad iv's overall. Is this a strategic thing, or is it just the best you've found

I dont think theres any shame in believing in an algo. Whats shameful is blaming one for the inability to level up. Players like Doonebug and Axn have a GBL most likley have a GBL win rate of 55-60%...do we honestly believe they are 55% win rate players? Regardless of what you believe, its on you to reach the rank you want and get better

I think that even if your Attack is 15 (CP will be xxx), Cress's attack is around 9-10 (CP will be xxx + something higher than yours). 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah CMP can be messed up, just few seasons ago my Ninetail lost CMP to Umbreon twice in the same match

Your starting Leo of 2208 at level 20….shouldn’t that put you at Ace rank? I’ve only played two seasons prior to this so still trying to figure things out.
