HE IS DEFINITELY HIS FATHER'S SON!!! At THE CONCERT FOR GEORGE, when Dhani first appears, I almost FAINTED!!! As Paul McCartney said "Olivia told me that 'with Dhani up there, it looks like everyone else got old and George stayed young!' "
IKR? My youngest daughter and I attended the show at State farm arena in July of 2019. I'm just happy that was able to see and hear Jeff Lynne after growing up in the '70s and '80s and not taking the time out to see ELO with all the original members in concert.
THAT IS NOT AN IMITATION,THAT IS D, N A,DHANNI'S NATURAL ABILITY., SO AMAMZING,GEORGE IS SMILING THAT SMILE.LOOVE AND MISS THEM,I AM 71 NOW AND THEY ,GEORGE AND HIS 3 MATES ( THE BEATLES) CHANGED MY LIFE AND MADE IT BETTER.AND STILL DOES.
Absolutely SPOOKY how Much Dhani sounds & looks just like his Dad! So glad he does---as it's like George Harrison still lives-on thru his talented son!
This is the first time I'm hearing Dhani's vocals. What a treasure. We almost have George back! This is such a sweet tribute to George, Roy and Tom Petty. May you be watching from up above.
You persumption is they believed in Jesus Christ to be saved, as a former diehard Beatles fan since the late 60s, a collection of Beatles records in the 200s, books, interviews, etc. I know of no belief in Jesus Christ by George, John, Paul, or Ringo. I don't know enough to comment on the others. Sorry, don't mean to be a wet blanket. But the looking down comment, as a doctrinal bible teacher I was compelled to comment. I am a song writer and guitar player, but I write and professionally record Christian music to share with and encourage other believers. My tunes are Beatlesque although I intentially never learned their songs, started to on a few in the 80s.
Many words of the Bible have been misinterpreted or changed since divinely inspired,Many know that Gods and love are the ways to enter any of the Divine Mansions. Please do not limit God or God’s love.
Dhani’s dad most certainly cast a large set of footprints to fill, but the love still transcends through his son. It’s eerie to see how much he looks and sounds like George. Nice footage, thanks for sharing it.😊
OMG!!! Hearing George's voice come out of Dhani made me tear up. Imagine, no pun, Julian and him playing together? Thank you so much to whomever recorded and it's poster. Thank you!
It's hard to cover a song and do a great job, especially trying to replicate the sound, but damn Dhani is his father's son and sounds and looks so much like him, it gives me chills.
Hello my fellow Americans.... My youngest daughter and I attended the show and it's musicians were so wonderful performing this song. It made me so happy and sad at the same time knowing that Tom Petty, George Harrison, Roy Orbison are no longer with us.
He sounds similar to his dad, to think, he has hundreds of songs his father wrote that they found after his death. To think we may be able to hear those songs one day live on through his son with one of his best friends to help produce, and his extended Beatles family to offer support.
While I understand why Dhani rarely seems to play Beatles or his father's music, due to wanting to standing on his own as a musician....it's a wonderful treat to hear him channel his father for those who either wish they could see George one last time, or never had the opportunity.
It's like listening George again! That's unbelievable. It would be great to bring the kids of the dead members (George, Roy and Tom), Bob and Jeff together for a Traveling Wilburys reunion tour.
So you have 2 of them but that's not what you want. How about we resurrect George, Tom Petty and Roy Orbison just for your approval. Maybe we can resurrect Prince for a quick rendition of While my guitar gently weeps. That way George can collect his own statue from the rock and roll hall of fame.
That decision is Dhani's to make. You are implying he isn't competent enough to make decisions about his own career. Maybe just maybe Dhani is capable of making decisions without the help of some random comment on youtube.
