The reality is that Kamala supporters are voting on a fairytale and not real policies; simply to spite the opposite leader... She can't even explain her policies in an open interview... You think they're "her" policies? And people still vote for that level of incompetence. It's no wonder people make fun of the IQ of US citizens. Only individuals that don't understand how the economy works will believe misleadingly that taxing the rich will actually work. You'd be voting to make your life more expensive indirectly lol. Kamala supporters are "feel good" voters, not common sense voters. Could there be better candidates overall? Yeah... You want another puppet leader who won't do anything different than what Biden did? Keep holding onto your ignorance and believe the narriative the mainstream media provides. How many more examples of misleading video edits do you need to see before you understand how untruthful that industry is? :)
This million dollar raffle thing is unreal. Like some cartoonish oligarch tossing gold coins at the peasants so they don't realize he's exploiting them to get rich and they'll keep working against their own best interests.
This is just a hairline away from simply giving every voter *$10k cash in hand for their vote* in whatever state Elon decides to run for senate in. Which is 100% his next play. It’s not really illegal when the only penalty is a fine, or when you can just pay bad faith lawyers to stall whatever process indefinitely. Imagine in a few terms when most senators are just the wealthiest few people who decided to buy themselves seats. Suddenly the career politicians will wake up and feel threatened, but by then they are unemployed.
-And he knows it that is why he and people like Theil and Murdock want Trump to win and are using a bunch of ignorant racists to vote against their own interests. Musk spent $47B for Twitter to make people listen to him, but now it's only worth $15 B and dropping. So is Tesla,
He is an even better argument for actually enforcing the law. He should have been in a cell beside the Theranos chick just for fraud and stock manipulation years ago
Who could predict the savage capitalism would result on this? Capitalism without wealth caps are dangerous to people and to governments. No individual should have the power of a country, never.
Hi Sam. I volunteer for the Harris Walz campaign and last weekend we hit a half a million doors knocked in PA!! I knocked on 61 doors in Montgomery county! Vote blue straight up and down the ballot.

@dksharron Bribery is legal in politics. This is just in the open instead of corporations. America has been falling on the democratic index for a long time under both parties. Let's stop pretending America is what is not and put everything in the open.
I'm a foreigner....one thing I can say is that I've always noticed Americans seem to value money and economics above all else. This sick story only reaffirms those feelings. Gross.
@@yeoshow1984 they don't even value economics. Their economy is hurt by their visceral rejection of anything collective. That's why they pay more for health care than any other nation while still having very bad results.
A lot of Americans have been propagandized to think that great wealth equals intellect, ability, talent, worth, etc. I'm from here and I agree with you.
You can blame the Gilded Age and the Gospel of Wealth for that horrible mindset we Americans have. It doesn't help that our two red scares during the 1920's and 1960's completely destroyed any genuine progressive movements chance at economic reform.
Ya it like how they stoped talking about Epstein when Trump became the nominee. Before then it was a perfect attack for the Clintons. Oh oops a good old pal is now the Republican nominee. Zip your lips 🤐
Have to agree with you here. We have been gaslighted to accept what is twisted to be called meritocracy but is actually something else, something sinister.
All of this stuff is just bandaid solutions. We need to just get to the part where we implement socialism already before capitalism ends live as we know it.

Sam, I think you guys are really misfiring on this one. You're saying that this PAC run by a billionaire which pays its canvassers is doing much worse than all the Democratic canvassers doing it based on true belief and solidarity. But I've been told that capitalism is so great because when there's a profit incentive everyone's going to do a good job because it's in everyone's rational self-interest to do a good job. And also, Elon Musk is very wealthy, which of course in our capitalist system he got by being super competent because advancement in capitalism is based on merit. So if you're the richest, you're the best at everything. So clearly this PAC can't be a miserable failure, the ghost of Ayn Rand told me that's impossible.
You must be a billionaire & yet want to peddle the trickle down effect. The only thing that trickles down, is the brown stuff inside the pantlegs of the American citizenry & their not going to take it anymore, Mr. Billionaire ! 😮
Rich and super competent do not necessarily correlate. Many, not all, of these billionaires are arrogant, entitled, and good salesmen. In other words, like Trump, Musk is a good con man.

I would assume it's not random. I believe the petition existed prior to the first speaking event. What are the chances of like 5 states of people, who registered and signed the petition, the first two happen to attend like the couple hundred event. Seems very suspicious.
Globe, like anything East of I-17 in Phoenix, is Hella Trumpy. I got approached by 1 of these canvassers today in Mesa, AZ in a bass pro shop parking lot. He tried to play it off asking me to sign his petition to protect the 1st and 2nd amendments. I asked for more details. He then started to brag that this was Elon's operation. I stopped the nice man and told him I'll sign a petition to deport Elon tho? The guy just walked away 😂😂😂😂
That's a bad tactic. I would rather make them lose time and lead them to believe I could be convinced... I used to do that with Jeovah Witnesses, when they came knocking at my door, when I was a kid. They would just keep coming back, so I could troll them... That was until at least, my mom answered the door and dispelled their delusion... Just remember, the longer you hold them back, it means the less time they can spend targeting other ppl that might be susceptible to their snake oil. I still do that with marketing spam calls. I ask them if they can hold for a bit, and then I just put down the phone, until they just hang up. Oddly enough, I stopped receiving spam calls... =(
Donald: "Sigh, I have nothing to say against Harris" Elon: "I have an idea, If we pay people to vote, then we don't need an agenda" Donald: "Good idea, then when I'm the boss we'll confiscate that money, and face harsh punishments if anyone opposes me"
I honestly think this is part of the calculus. Elon will do illegal shit to help trump get elected, then once he’s president Trump will pardon Elon for his crimes.
Sam, canvasser here for the blue team. Most poltical campaign canvassing gigs should be using public voter data to cross check party affiliation and then use that data to knock. I think the petition is just vote buying
@@zdwade It is irrelevant, paying someone to register, is illegal: 52 USC 10307: Prohibited acts (c) False information in registering or voting; penalties Whoever knowingly or willfully gives false information as to his name, address or period of residence in the voting district for the purpose of establishing his eligibility to register or vote, or conspires with another individual for the purpose of encouraging his false registration to vote or illegal voting, or *pays or offers to pay or accepts payment either for registration to vote or for voting* shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than five years, or both. So in this case, both Elon and the ones who were awarded (and maybe even signed the petition) are breaking the law. There is a clear intent, regardless if they won the money or not.
There absolutely should be a limit of wealth. Anything over that limit goes to a fund to help less fortunate people. Plain and simple. You can stay at that limit all you want, but to keep amassing so much money you can never spend all your life is just a pack rat.
Now we're talking. Billionaires like to promote the class war by saying that we're all jealous of what they have and what they can buy. Some are, for sure, but most of us don't feel like wasting our lives dedicated to pursuing a buck and then defining ourselves by it. What most of us resent is the inordinate power that all this concentrated wealth gives to a handful of a-holes.
i get u but most r actually just jealous and chasing the money others have and while i do agrre that u should have some power with status, being able to lobby and much less influence the gov, not saying that u shouldn't have a say, but to the level where ur basically campaigning too and being put ont he podium while the pres gives a speech if out of this world and while this is a prob with them getting to high and mighty the gov also has a prob because law and just being JUST should tell u that the people as a collective should sway the decisions of the gov not one single entity, if i were a billionaire yes id endorse a candidate i believed in all of us would but getting on podiums and knocking on doors that out of my jurisdiction both as a billionaire and citizen, plus i alr don't like politics nor ppl that much. srry for the rant just giving my opinion.

That what happens when they get billions in government handout for free and won't pay tax. Funny unemployment benefits get tax but not billionaire with us government funds
Elon could spend a billion a monthe for the next 36 months, and still have enough left over from his June check to purchase a Supreme Court majority decision.
Billionaires shouldnt be a think period! Them existing says your system is screwed. There is no infinite money on this planet so them sitting on as much as a countries worth just means thousands of ppl are suffering! Fight billionaires and the world will get a better place
Maybe, if we're really lucky, Musk could finally be prosecuted for something. But I have little trust in the US court system to actually prosecute him and if they do I bet he'll be sentenced to just pay the maximum fine of $10 000.
Well, it is illegal to BOTH receive or give money to register, so that means that those who won are sure to be also committing a crime, and anyone that signed the petition, might be too, since there was the intent of playing on a lottery to earn money. That means that there are a whole lot people out there that face potentially a $10000 fine and/or 5 years in prison.
@@herlandercarvalho I don't particularly care what happens to the people who signed the petition and won this lottery. Musk is the one who needs to face some actual consequences at this point, i.e. he needs to go to jail
It still doesn't mean that they have or have not knocked at the doors. They could have just knocked a bunch of doors, marked separately on some paper which ones responded or not, and then after the walking and the knocking was done, they may have registered on the app, in bulk. All this is just speculative.
And we should continue to press this issue even if a (in particular) right wing Billionaire isn’t actively presenting issue with everyday society through direct and audacious influence. No one, regardless of their belief system or constitution, should be amassing anywhere near this kind of wealth.
I think it's fairly obvious at this point, that it hardly matters how dishonest, disgusting, or illegal, the GOP and its operatives comport themselves. It will just get lost in the shuffle, drowned out by noise, or be addressed too late to matter. Anyway you look at it, we are outgunned. thats soo stupid cause all that will happen is these businesses will pull out leaving the country's economy in disarray and unable to recover. plus any major company ceo has that much wealth forcing them to leave means more jobs ad forcing people into a wealth cap only makes them want to work less, sit and think if u have a service that can better and save lives and will bring in more than the cap would u do it. no u wont because you'd want what ur owed for ur work, and u do it a lot urself as an adult, do u work overtime without pay, do u take up other peoples task without getting paid, do u do anything without expecting the same bang for ur buck so y should they do the same, a limitarian society would be the death of society itself.and second u guys need to know the difference between income and wealth u 1 u cant tax wealth and 2 such a high tax on income would be illegal and unjust, u guys always say billionnaires dont pay their fair share yet u dont want equal tax all u want is to dump all the tax burdens on the country on select few who worked for what they have and on a moral perspective thats just sad bro like really fucking sad.
Maybe direct taxing isn't the best solution but the principle of a more even distribution of wealth should be addressed - there will be ways to do this without damaging the economy.

I think we should just put a hard limit on the amount of land that a single person or single company can own or lease. And I also believe that we should disintegrate multi-State businesses. It would encourage each State to take control of its own production and trade routes and all that. Imagine fast food franchises being limited to just one state. We wouldn't all be eating the same junk food. It would incentivize interstate travel if each state was home to an entirely new set of businesses, you know? People like Bezos and Musk might not exist if their companies couldn't grow so damn big. The billionaires would probably react by moving their operations to other countries and to that I say "good, leave, we don't want you here". Then home-grown companies can fill the voids. Of course, I'm not an economist so I have no idea how this would play out in real life. I'm sure I'm overlooking countless flaws and it would be a disaster lol.
firstly if businesses arent able to out reach places in the country have less economics that the rest and second yeah those companies ran by those when they leave will still cause problems for them due to them alr monopolizing the industry and second just sit and think when these companies pull the economy will go to hell, prices, inflation and mostly supply and demand which is needed for a business now think how hard it will be to start a business much less grow one in that economy, its very hard u so u may not like and i agree about the junk and overly processed food but at the end of the day u need them and not all pf them are killing the environment and ppl but some do good.
